*Rachael's POV*
"Rachael wait" I heard someone yell from behind me. Instead of turning around and confronting them I shifted to my wolf form and kept running. I didn't want to deal with anyone right now.
I headed straight for the woods to my favorite clearing and unshifted. Before sitting down on the grass I heard a noise behind me.
"Who's there?" I said kind of quitely. You're probably wondering why but werewolves actually have really good hearing. So if it was a fellow werewolf they still would have heard me.
What actually appeared from the bushes wasn't what I expected. Limping and bruised, my best friend, and pack mate, jason came shambling towards me.
"Jason!" What happened.
They came out of nowhere. We couldnt do a thing. He whimpered through the pack link.
"Calm down Jason. Tell me what happened."
The pack.
I shifted to wolf form and ran as fast as i could to the pack. Ruin was everywhere. I couldnt help but tear up. Stop crying Rachael you have to find your family.
