After there mom died Mariah and her siblings move from New Orleans to Atlanta with there dad. Trying to make ends meet Mariah has to start over hoping her past doesn't come to haunt her.
I woke up at 6:30 and went to take a 30 minute shower. I got it the shower and creamed myself down and went in my closet and pulled out an outfit that I got last night. I did my hair and brushed my teeth and walked out the bathroom. I grabbed my book bag and my phone and went downstairs. Neveah and my brother were downstairs talking and I told her to come on and we went to my car and I drove to school.
*10 minutes later*
As we pulled up to the school I found a parking spot and shut off my car, as we got out Mar'quan parked next to us and got out his car.
Neveah pov
While Mar'quan, Mariah and I were walking in the school I got a text from TJ( pic of him in media)

I started walking to my locker when I saw Trey standing there. "Hey Neveah" he said as I got closer. "Hey Trey what's up" "nun much" I looked back at my phone when I got another text from Tj. "Hey you know I can treat you better" "yea I know Trey" he took my phone and put his number in it. "If you need me call me" "ok" I replied as he walked away.
Mariah pov
As I walked to my first period I thought about August, when I walked into class there was a note on my desk that said Meet me in the parking lot when the lunch bell ring - August I thought about what he wanted when the lunch bell rang. I got up and car to the parking lot and spotted August leaning on his black Range Rover. I walked up to him and he told me to get in. "For what were we going?" "Stop tripping man and just get in or I'll make you" he said in a flirty way. I neva missed a class in my life so I was nervous but i didn't want to turn him down so i got in the the car and let him take me wherever we was going. Finally we got to the beach and we got out. "Why are we here August?" He started laughing and walking towards me slowly "August wat are you doing scaring me" I tried to run but be caught me n I started screaming" STOP AUGUST, WHY U DOING THIS!" Next thing I know I woke up in the middle of the night from Mar'quan waking me up. "Lil sis you good. I heard you screaming in yo sleep, I thought that nigga was actually in here." "I'm okay but thanks for waking me up it my sleep" " no problem you know I got you" he sat with me a lip bit,talking me to death about his homie august and trying to talk me out of dating him. "Look Quan you can talk to me all day long about him but it's not going to change the fact that I really like him-" he interrupt me " okay damn you win but if he hurt you and I found out I'm killing his ass."I nodded he left my room and I tried to go back to sleep for school.
*THE NEXT MORNING* (STILL MARIAH POV)
I got up the next morning still thinking about my dream that I had last night. I took me a 30 minute shower and got dress. ( outfit in the Media)

" Probably in dads office" I replied back. "Ight thx"he said walking down the hall. Before I walked outside Neveah came down the stairs yelling " I CANT FIND MY PHONE!" "It's on the couch" "What's with y'all losing y'all shit?" "Shut up Mariah I got to get ready" she said grabbing her phone off the couch and running upstairs. I grabbed my bags and went to my car and drove to school. When I got there I parked in my parking spot and started walking to my locker.
Neveah pov I decided to take the bus because I want ready, when I got off the bus I saw Trey standing by his car it looked like he was waiting on me. I walked up to him " How you know I was riding the bus?" " I saw ur sister and you wasn't with her so, I just waited to see if you were going to ride with ur brother." "Oh come on we don't wanna be late for first period."
Trey pov It was lunchtime and I saw Mariah at her locker, so I walked up to her "Hey Mariah" "Wassup Trey" "I wanna take ur sister out this weekend" " Ok did u ask my brother?" "No I came to u first" " Ight when?" " Friday" " Ight bye, she said walking off." "Bye" I replied back.
