amelia hadn't gone unnoticed by her. she had seen her with her friends at lunch - all her skinny friends who seemed to eat only salads. she looked good, like someone that had run away from a Vogue cover. emilia had to keep her eyes focused on her plate that seemed too full for anyone to eat. she immediately felt sick.
she was sitting with her friends in the cafeteria when she spotted her new roommate. she was sitting alone, playing with her food and she looked lost in her own thoughts. amelia was ready to get up and invite emilia to join her and her group of friends for lunch, but two girls arrived at that exact moment and sat down next to her, making a smile appear on her cute face which made her cheeks look even chubbier.
amelia was so jealous of her perfect round face. she wished she could look as lovely as her. she wished she didn't have a bony structure that made her look like a walking skeleton.
emilia's friends looked good but emilia looked better. she weighed more than the other two girls and that had caught amelia's attention. her eyes travelled to their plates of food - they were full of greasy food and carbs - all the things that made amelia throw up if she ate too much of it. amelia looked at her own salad. she immediately felt like crying.
