We drove for a while, until we reached a deserted street and I parked at a pavement.
'So, where now?' I asked. 'Because I've got absolutely no idea.'
Katherine looked thoughtful. Then she turned to me. 'Right, there's a friend of mine we can go to. He can help us out for a few days.'
'Okay, where does he live?' I asked.
'I'll just give you directions.' She said.
So that's what we did. Katherine gave me directions to his house and I followed them.
We drove for about half an hour until we reached the house.
It was a semi-detached house and very grand and expensive looking. Well, this was on a private estate.
Katherine texted someone on her phone, who I guessed was her friend, because a minute later, the garage door opened. I drove into the garage and stopped the car.
We got out and walked to the front door.
