I looked at Tina as she was just staring at him while he was doing the same to her.
Something's definitely up with these two.

" Well I'm gonna head in for the night, I'm gettin drowsy " melatonin finally kicking in.
" It was nice seeing you again... Tina "
He said kinda of weirdly and then looked at me and pointed to the back .
"Guess room is down the hall first door on the right"
He nodded and looked at Tina one more time but proceeding to the back.

" Where'd you meet him at? " I asked once he was out of earshot.

" Kind of a long story " she said looking to the side.

" How do you know him? " she asked cocking her head to the side with her arms crossed .
" Kind of a long story " I mocked.
" Well I mean we've kind of been cousins all of our lives and you've never mentioned this nigga's name before" she shot back with attitude
" You know how I am with people getting close to family besides , we stopped being cool a long time ago so it really doesn't matter anymore " I shrugged looking to the side and shifted my weight on one leg.

" Mhm well by the way he was staring at you seems like y'all got some history " she picking at her nails.

"It wasn't like that he just had a lot of baggage, but I'll tell you about that later how did you meet him?"

" HAAAAA WTF SIS IM WEAK " i yelled falling on the couch laughing my ass off .
" Shut the fuck up you aint the best driver either remember when you almost killed us on the enterstate before"
My laughing died a little " nahh Cuz ian never hit no damn body tho " i said wiping tears calming down.

" what the fuck ever anywayss , I demanded to help him with his cuts and scrapes to make up for it and we've just been kinda i guess kickin' it since then " she said with a lil uneasiness in her voice , ian buying it. But I'm not gonna push it cause I kinda already got idea of what they got goin on I know its not just bein' no friends.

" You know damn well I'm not believing that but I'm not even gonna ask " I said shaking my head knowing how she is , I looked to the back making sure he wasn't eavesdropping " But I know this guy and I don't think its a good idea to be "kickin' it" with him " i said making air quotes.

"And why not?" It kinda slipped out with some attitude.
" Cause he not good for you Crystal did you not hear what I said? "
I rolled my eyes
" whatever , I'm a grown ass woman Tina , you not my mama and you can't tell who to hang with and who not to. You know what ? What did you come over here for anyway? To get in my business? " I snapped at her.

She jumped up " I actually came over to talk one on one like us cousins do, I could care less about your little boy toy, but you know what I can leave " she said walking towards the door .

" Man , T ian mean it like that I---"
The door shut behind her and I sighed cutting the lights off heading upstairs..

I can't believe she said some shit like that to me when I'm tryna help her ass out .
I slammed my front door stomping to my room, changed my clothes, and laid in bed sighing.
Everytime I get ready to tell her something gets in the way .
I reached under my bed grabbing the small picture under the bed frame staring at it.
