P.S I know many of you may think that something like this should be put down for only experienced authors that have had this happen to them before. But I respectively disagree, I put this here so I can ensure that this NEVER happens to me. And that I NEVER have to worry about people stealing my ideas before it even happens. But your opinion is your opinion but I could care less what it is.
The view is many things. The truth, the giver of life, the true way of the world, but never wrong nor crazy.
-The Legends-
What's a girl got to do when a counsel of 12 Greek superhuman people decide she needs to die? The rational thing, blow the place up and run for her life. Confused? Don't worry you're not the only one. I think the best way to tell you how a 17-year-old girl goes from being normal to a supreme higher being in the span of a few months is from the beginning.
But I believe an introduction is an order: Hello there, I'm Alex and I grew up in Colorado in a modest house living a modest life, but that said life took a 180 all because of one simple characteristic; crazy straight blonde hair. Your probably confused, don't worry time will tell all you need to know.
I've been told on many occasions by my 'friends' that my eyes are the color of a sparkling emerald gem but personally I think there the color of the lake we live by, sea green. Doctors say I'm a bit underweight and friends say I'm a walking stick but to my mom I'm model appropriate.
And the day that changed my entire life for better or worse started off like any other; normal or at least as normal as it can get when you see stuff. You may be thinking: Better steer clear, this girl is crazy. But I'm not crazy. I can just see stuff that other people can't. Albeit that's literally the definition of crazy. So, I'll put it in different words. I can see the world in a different view. A view very few people could see. And the people who do have ways to make life just a little better for those with clouded vision. Or they can make the world a living hell.
That in mind if you want to hear my story you must be prepared for corruption, evil, and danger for what I'm about to tell you is not for the faint hearted. Still here? Alright then, let's get this over with.
My story starts off pretty bland, I got dressed, had a quick shower, and went to my summer job. My job paid pretty well, and it was a diner named "Auntie Mollie's Diner" meaning I never had to make a breakfast. Which back then I thought made me lucky, now I'm just happy if I even manage to remember to eat breakfast. But back then I didn't really have control of my 'gift' and I considered it a disability, something best left unspoken of. Most days I managed to get to the diner door before my "View" kicked in. That day I wasn't that lucky. Unveiled eyes allowed me to see the impossible, birds that glowed with the morning sun as the flew above, dogs that eerie eyes resemble ones of a human, and the one black cat whose emerald eyes stared back at me with an unspeakable amount of intelligence, the cat in which I had unofficially adopted. The view was unpredictable and just as quickly as it come it left. My cat suddenly became the loving ball of fur I was used to, the dog suddenly became a normal stray, and the bird was nowhere in sight.
