Harry's Perspective

"Unplanned does not mean unwanted or unloved. It just means life knew what I needed before I did."

Gemma was standing outside the bathroom when Harry came out. He'd just brushed his teeth after throwing up violently.

"Again, Harry?" she asked as he wiped his mouth.

"Yeah. Must be a bug or something." he said.

"Or..." Gemma hinted.

"Enough, Gemma." he snapped. He was sick of hearing it.

"I'm just saying, Haz. You've been throwing up nonstop for two weeks, now." she seemed genuinely concerned and Harry sighed, motioning for her to follow him to his room.

"It's not like I haven't thought about possibly being...pregnant." Harry climbed on his bed. "But I've only ever had sex once, Gem! With one guy!" he exclaims.

"That's all it takes. We didn't talk much about it after." she sits cross legged across from him. "Did you guys use a condom?"

"I don't know." Harry admits. "We were both drunk. I barely remember a thing."

Gemma sighed. She looked disappointed. Harry hated when she was disappointed in him. She'd only looked at him like that two times. When he'd gotten caught stealing candy from the store, and two months ago at the party after she'd caught him in bed with Louis, naked and freshly fucked.

"Do you want to take a test?" she asked. Harry nodded. She left his room and came back a minute later with a plastic bag. She dumped its contents on to the bed and four pregnancy tests fell out. "I planned ahead. You were going to take a test regardless of your answer."

Harry picked one up and turned it over in his hand. "Why so many?"

"We need to be sure." she shrugged.

Harry gathered all the tests in his arms and went to the bathroom. After reading the directions carefully, he peed on each stick and put them in the tests, lining them up in order of accuracy percentage.

He waited impatiently with Gemma for the timer to go off. Neither of them spoke and the tension in the air was thick. The timer went off after what felt like an eternity and Gemma jumped up, running to the bathroom and coming back with the tests in her hands.

They laid them on the bed and tears formed in Harry's eyes. Four positives.

He was pregnant.

Harry wasn't sure how long he cried for that night. Gemma calmed him down after weeping with him for a while and assured him she'd be with him no matter what.

Then came the hard part. Deciding how and when to tell Louis.

"At least you know who the father is." Gemma said while munching on a chip. They'd gone to the kitchen to eat their stress away. "But I hate to tell you, kid. I've known Louis a awhile and he isn't the dating type."

"I don't want to date him." Harry rolled his eyes. "I just want him to be in the baby's life."

"He isn't really the commitment type either." she said. "I'm just gonna tell you the truth, Harry. Louis has horrible commitment and abandonment issues. He doesn't do relationships and rarely ever let's anyone get close to him emotionally. So, I wouldn't expect much from him in terms of a relationship. In fact, if I were you, I'd have a back up plan in case he doesn't even want to be a dad. I'll be here and I'll help you any way I can. Just don't depend on him, because he's not someone you can depend on."
