I've been hunting a deer for miles now. I was hoping to catch it and bring it back to impress my Father. He's been such a douche lately. He won't shut up about this group called Alexandria, and has been gone away for a long time. He won't let me go on runs, or hunt. I always have to sneak out to do something. I'm very capable of protecting myself. I know he's just scared to lose me.

I missed the outdoors, the sun beating down on me, the smell of grass, and mostly the fresh air. My dad has been keeping me inside for weeks now. Simon and Dwight always tease me for it. They call me "Daddy's little girl". I'm so sick of it. I'm a damn woman and don't need a man to protect me.
I finally caught up to the deer. I took out one of my arrows and placed it on my bow. I took a deep exhale before shooting it. Another arrow hitting it as well. The arrows killed the deer instantly. I quickly pulled out another arrow and looked for another person. I ducked and tried to shoot whoever it was.
The coast looked clear. I ran straight to the deer and pulling out my arrow. I looked at the other arrow. It looked like it came from a crossbow. I heard rustling, and dead leaves crunching. I quickly pulled out an arrow and got up. I turned around and seen a familiar face. "Dwight!" I said in anger. "Where the hell have you been?" He asked annoyed. "Nice bow" I said. He stood there looking at me. "Come on...I can't drag this deer all by myself" I said pulling him by the antlers.
Dwight and I took the deer back to the sanctuary aka my home. "What did my Dad have to say this time" I said. "He's worried about you...and look when we get back don't piss him off...he's in a mood" Dwight said. "Why?" I asked walking beside him. "We had to take care of some people this morning" he said. "By take care you mean he killed someone" I said sighing.
My dad came busting through the doors. "Where the hell have you been?!" He asked. "Hunting" I said pushing the deer down in front of him. He sighed and looked down. "How many times do I have to tell you not to leave" he said gently grabbing both of my shoulders. "I'm 18 years old...I'm not a child" I said grabbing the deer. I dragged him against the tree and hung him up.
"I caught dinner...you guys can make it" I said leaving. I walked into my room and slammed the door. I sat down and fixed my hair. I had long brown hair, and green eyes. The door slammed open and Dwight came in. "What the hell!" He said. "Dwight leave" I said in annoyance. "I told you not to piss him off!" He paused and sighed. "Just stay here for the rest of the day please?" He said. "Fine" I said. "We're going out again in an hour" he said. I turned to look at him at nodded.
This sucks ass that I have to spend all day inside again. I'm a very curious, and adventurous girl; and my dad knows it. I wish he'd loosen up.
I left to grab an apple out of the kitchen. As I walked by one of the storage rooms; I heard really loud and annoying music. "What the hell" I said. I reached to open the door by was stopped by a large hand. "Don't" Dwight said. "What's in there?" I asked. "A prisoner" he said. "You trying to drive him insane?" I said pointing to the door. "He deserves what he's getting" Dwight said guiding me away.
I walked by the wives rooms. I hated them. All of them would rather sleep with my dad then work for themselves. Some of their doors were open. I gave them dirty looks while I past by. None of them never said anything to me, or even looked at me.
The only one that I liked was Sherry. He was Dwight's wife. I begged my Dad to have mercy on them when they left. My Dad was going to kill Dwight but Sherry said she'd marry my Dad. And then he punished Dwight. I pleaded my father to not do it. Of course he did not listen.
Flashback
"Dad! Please I beg you, don't do this" I said with my hands on his chest; trying to stop him. "Rey get out of the way" he said. "Dad please" I said. He gently grabbed me and pushed me away. "Simon! Take Rey back to her room" he said. Simon got in front of me. "Rey come on" he said. I watched my father walk down that hall and I didn't do anything.
Me and Sherry got along. Before she was seeing my Dad; we were really great friends. But ever since she became my Dad's "wife" we don't really talk anymore. I miss her so much.
I walked to my room and jumped into bed. I pulled the blankets over my body, and turned off my light on the nightstand. I yawned and snugged into the blanket. My eyes closed and I fell into a deep sleep.
