"A jar?" Brett says.
"I dont think so. It much too large."
I remember my mother and father talking about the Been & Gone. I remember the picture they showed me, of a forgein organism. A spider. They said there webs were rare, but not bad. They weren't from the Been & Gone. I looked more close into the spider webs. They were thick, a dark white color, and they were black at the bottom. But it didn't look like webs. It was a spider! A big spider at that. It had a yellow head, black abdomen, and it had this curvey line on its back. It was a dark blue, but you could still see it. It had 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 legs! I don't want to tell Brett, but I do. I can't. I won't. I cannot ruin everything. This would ruin everything. This is trouble. Trouble indeed. I am now trouble.
I didn't understand how a spider got into Faylight. They are part of the Been & Gone. Like I said, the Been & Gone is not a place for us. It used to be a part of Faylight, but now it has been run over by the Dark Ones. They call it Harmstead, we call it Been & Gone. I have been told that my great grandfather and great grandmother were trained there. To fight the evil that layed ahead. The people who started this, the Dark Ones.
Faylight does not hold creatures that harm or that are not generated equally. This is why spiders shouldn't be in Faylight. They are harmfull creatures, I realize that spiders are a troublesome creature indeed. And what makes it even worse is that it got into Faylight, which means that there is a crack in our barrier. Which means that the Dark Ones are closer to reaching us. This could cause trouble, horrifying trouble.
As we walk back to the training center, I left the artifact where i found it. I knew i couldn't announce this to the collecters. The collecters control Faylights announcements and news. If I were to tell this to the collecters I would be put on stand to be discriminated and then be the one to cause a riot. A riot, out of all things could make everything worse when and if the Dark Ones break through.
When we arrived at the training center, Alexander, our trainer is standing behind a podium, silently waiting for all of the trainnes to take their places. Brett and I realized that his news is not going to me good my the twitch of his right wing. He always twicthes his right wing when he is disapointted or nervous.
"I have a troubling announcement to share with you all." Alexander said brodly, but with a small crack in his voice.
"The collecters have told me, to tell you, that the barrier needs to be replaced. To do this, we do not know. Forgein creatures are coming through worn passages. We have encounted many things that were once with us before the perfection of this group. If the Dark Ones discover that the barrier is wearing down, they will continue to damage it 'till they can pass through to attack. If we have to replace the barrier the Dark Ones will certinally notice. We will not have protection. The Savzars will not be enough to defeat them if nessacary."
He could barely speak in fluent format. We knew we had to come up with a plan to finally defeat the Been & Gone. Faylight believes in peace. Something the Dark Ones don't possess. If we could make peace, then the fight would be over. Thankfully Brett and I can start something to stop this.
