Hi friends! I'm Mara Mooney, yes that's my real name. And yes, the last name is probably familiar to you. Not me being cocky, just stating facts. My family's name is pretty famous because my father is the 15th richest man on Earth.
That's a pretty big deal to most.
So my family is a bit in the spotlight as you can imagine, but not as much as you think. My father, Martin Mooney, is a humble man despite his immense health.
He's a great man, and he did the right thing by keeping my sister and I away from everything until we were older. Sure we still went to some gala events and people knew of us, but we weren't on some Mary-Kate and Ashley type fame.
Now we were both pursing our careers in the spotlight. I am aspiring to be a model, as well as a dancer. I've done ballet since I was 6 and it's become the biggest part of my life aside from modeling. I haven't exactly broken out into the industry because I've been more focused on ballet, but now I was putting more attention to modeling.
I'm Brazilian, my mother and grandmother having moved to the states when my mom, Kenya, was young. I grew up in a very loving family and I am blessed to be able to be so fortunate for all the things I have.
I just didn't know I would gain one more blessing...
I decided to do this chapter to give background to who Mara is. I wanted her to still be used to fame but in a way, still new to things. Especially having the spotlight mostly on her and not her famous family.
Also, I wanted to use Hailey Baldwin because a lot of people don't realize how humble she is and I love that aspect about her. She doesn't do crazy things to get ahead in modeling and she stays true to herself and her values. Plus, I love Jailey lol #sorrynotsorry!
AND I also wanted to use Hails because I hate how she's portrayed in a lot of stories for Jbff. It's sad, my girl always got to be the hated one in the book. Sad.
