Chapter 1: I Missed You Part 1

So this is the first chapter! Yay! Anyways, I hope you all like this chapter. Remember, this is an AU for Enabler, it will have them reuniting with each other, next chapters will have Weiss and Blake in them. If you people have some, give me some ideas of your own, I'll try to fit them in this story. Hope you enjoy nonetheless!

Yang got off of Bumblebee, her motorcycle. She was now at the hotel Ruby had said she and Qrow would be staying at. It was a simple hotel, four stories high, a pool in the back, a few restaurants inside where you can eat with family, a gift shop, and a large Casino. She went in and smiled at the employee at the counter. The employee, a woman, gave a simple smile, fake. Yang noticed it was forced, to seem polite to the people. She wouldn't blame her, a job where you just sat there, waiting for people to come through the door and ask to check out a room, was not something that Yang would enjoy.

She walked up the stairs and looked down at the letter that Ruby had sent her. Room 316. Not too far. Once she got there she stopped at the door. Don't be hesitant, it's your sister and uncle, family. But she still wasn't sure if she could see them, after she blew up in front of Ruby, she felt horrible. Ruby was only trying to help, and she pushed her away. Yang couldn't help but feel guilty, she felt like she was the reason Ruby left.

She sighed and leaned her forehead on the door, apparently that made a noise as she heard some shuffling inside, and footsteps. She panicked. Shit. The door opened and Qrow stood there.

He looked at her with a slightly surprised expression. She took a few steps back and smiled. "Hey Qrow." She gave a nervous laugh and waved. He smiled back and leaned against the door frame. "Hey there, Firecracker." He nodded and gave a gesture for her to come inside. She nodded and he moved the side as she walked in. "Um... Where's Ruby?" She asked and Qrow sat on the bed he was laying in just a few moments ago. "She went to get some food for us. The other three are in their own room." Qrow said. Yang sighed. "Right." She looked at the desk and seen a few rose petals. "Why do you ask?" Qrow looked over to her. "I... need to tell her something. It's important, to me."

Yes, it was true. Yang did have something to tell Ruby. But she wasn't so sure about it now. The whole ride here, she's been thinking about it. It wasn't what most would think she needed to tell her. It was really simple, but those three words would change everything for the both of them. Yang was scared, truly. She never really got scared of such a thing, she would always push through like it was nothing, but this was something that could tear apart their relationship now, or make it so that they'd be even closer. Yang was hoping it would be the latter. But then telling others about it, their father, uncle, friends. What would they think about it? What would their reactions be? Would they still want to stick around with them? Or leave them in disgust? How would things play out?

Yang was both angry and worried. Angry at herself for thinking about this so much, she never worried about such a thing. Sure, she had her fair share of being rejected, of being hurt and heartbroken. But this was a combination of all three. Rejection from her own sister, being hurt and heartbroken at the same time. That's why she was worried, she didn't want to ruin what they had, what they had been through all those years just to be torn apart at the words that Yang was going to say. But she had to tell her, at least let her know.

"Really now? Well do you mind telling me what this thing is that is so important?" Qrow asked and Yang shook her head, a light tint of pink dusting across her cheeks. "I need to tell her myself." Yang's heart raced. I can't tell him, not now. "I'll... go look for her." Yang turned around and walked out. "When you come back, give your uncle a hug!" He yelled and Yang smiled. "I'll be sure to do that!" She yelled back and chuckled just as the door closed.
