“4810, 4811, 4812, finally! This better be the right place.”
Ding-Dong~
She sighed.
“What’s taking so long?”
She rang the bell again.
The door flew open and bestowed a man in his 20s with a six pack and a towel covering his junk.
He looked at her surprised face and shut the door.
She just stood there not knowing what to do.
Is college normally like this in Korea? God, what have I gotten myself into?
This time, the door slowly opened with a bright smile. She noticed his cute ears and his height.
“Hi, you must be Bang Minah, the transfer student right?
I looked at my luggage.
“Yup, that’s me!”
“It’s nice to meet you, I’m Park Chanyeol and that guy was Byun Baekhyun. Sorry about that, he’s usually a lot… nicer.”
He welcomed me in, taking my bags to my new room.
“Ok, so there are 2 bedrooms, one for you and one for us.”
Minah thanked him and went inside.
She laid down on the bed, touching the soft cotton blanket. She closed her eyes and thought of home, then thought about her new roommates; her new family.
Wait a minute, "for us"? Are they gay? Why would they share a room? OMG were they having sex? I mean, the other guy was half naked. Damn it, Chanyeol was super cute. Hopefully not all the hot Korean guys here are gay, unlike the U.S. But hey, at least i got a place to stay.
She unpacked her bags.
After 2 hours of organizing and decorating she went to the kitchen to get some water.
“Hey, have you made yourself comfy yet?”
"Yea... I have thank you very much."
Minah watched Chanyeol pour milk into a glass cup. Damn, he’s even cute pouring milk.
“Oh, I forgot to ask you earlier but how old are you guys? I’m 20 by the way.”
“We’re 21, when’s your birthday?”
“It’s May 13, so it's next month. Why?”
I have finally made my very first gay friend. On the bright side, they won't rape me.
“He wants to know if you can drink, which you can so we should have a welcoming party.”
A sexy voice butt into our conversation.
“Baekhyun, this is Minah the new roomie.”
She smiled at the sound of “roomie”; wait, was it healthy to like a gay guy?
“Hi, it’s nice to meet you, I’m well, your new roommate.”
She smiled, hiding her jealousy.
“That wasn’t my intention but if you would like we can have a small party if you want, have a few drinks.”
“Get drunk.”
“YA! Baekhyun stop it will you?!”
Chanyeol blushed and looked at her smiling face.
“That would actually be nice. It’s wouldn’t be my first time so…”
Minah used to drink cans of beer since she was in 8th grade whenever she got depressed, so she was used to drinking beer.
Her smiling face turned gloomy. Both the boys noticed the change.
“I’m going to go to my room, but call me out when you have the drinks ready.”
She went to her room and sat on her bed thinking about the things that led her to drink.
*sigh “I’m starting a new life here, just think happy thoughts.”
