"We were little kids when we met."

"Little like me?"

"Yup. Well, we met while we were finding food. Not much there, we talked, we learned who the other was. We met a lot after that. Well, one day he asked me why I was so quiet. I didn't say a word. at least not until he mumbled-"

*FLASHBACK*

"Every other girl I've met wouldn't shut up."

"WHAT?! YOU THINK I'M A - A GIRL?!"

"W-well, yeah. Your voice is high l-like a girls."

"I'M A BOY!"

"Woah! Don't hit me! OW!"

*FLASHBACK END*

"He thought you were a girl?" Ambra giggled, "Why? You look and sound like a boy to me!"

"I had long hair when I was little. Back then little boys and girls in my home wore similar clothes. I had a high girly voice too. You would've thought I was a girl too."

"No I wouldn't have!"

"What makes you say that?"

"Because," She reached over to Norway and laid her hand over his heart, "I can feel it. You have the spirit of a boy."

Norway blushed a little, she said it as if it were nothing. "She can feel my soul too. No wonder she always knows what I'm thinking." He thought, "To believe she still doesn't remember what happened before she was reborn. How I cried on her bedside in her last moments, begging her not to leave me..."

"Norway, are you okay?"

"Yeah, just sometimes you remember things you'd rather not."

"Do you want a hug?"

He laughed. She was so sweet and innocent. What would happen if she was forced into some hardship? He didn't bother with the thought.

"Can I stay in here with you tonight?"

"Of course!" She hugged him tightly and said quietly, "I had a funny dream earlier, and you were in it."

"Oh, what happened?"

"I was a grown-up. And I was sick. Really sick. You were crying, asking me not to leave you. I think that was when I died. I think that's why I'm a kid now."

"Yes, it is," Norway felt tears in his eyes as he said, "I've missed you so much..."
