Don't fall in love. That is the first major rule of survival for Kim Dan. Never let your emotion get in the way of your work or even leisure. Kim Dan was contacted by her estranged older sister out of the blue. She was told to meet and work for a woman named Lee Se Jin with file attachment sent to her via an untraceable proxy. And her sister won't accept a 'no' for the job. This client is definitely close to her ever obnoxious unnie. It's gonna be tough. She sent back an address for her whereabout. She will toy this Lee Se Jin first before doing a formal job for her in exchange of being pissed off by her overbearing older sister. It will be 2 weeks from now until their impending meet.
They met at 'Club Sappho' in Castro district. She had Lee Se Jin witnessed an explosive scene of her screwing another woman in a doggie position with a strap on. But Kim Dan-ssi is a soldier. She has been in hell and back. Defeat has no place in her vocabulary. She won't let such thing stop her from loving Se Jin. Besides, she is in a good advantage right now. Lee Se Jin is in a relationship but physically away from her girlfriend. And it seems this Seo Yi-Kyung has a naturally cold personality that extends even to her present romantic relationship. A heart broken and crying Lee Se Jin came to her apartment last night. This Yi-Kyung girl has been a jerk. Se Jin saw the news about this widespread paparazzi picture of Seo Yi-Kyung and Mujin Group's Chairman, first love and ex-boyfriend, Pak Gun Woo in a seedy Tokyo love hotel. Se Jin immediately phoned her girlfriend to hear her side. But lo and behold, this Yi-Kyung flatly told her that it is none of her business and left Se Jin hanging amidst the sea of monotonous dial tone. She kept it all unto herself for days. For weeks. It was an unforgettable night. We went back to 'Sappho Club' and drown ourselves in unlimited booze, had fun with the small arcade in the corner, and let her dance away the sorrow with me. It was awkward at first. But I've been patient. I let Se Jin process everything. I gave her space. I want her to have all the time in the world to think about it. And one day, right after a corporate meeting with some Silicon Valley companies, Lee Se Jin asked me out on a date. We saw a movie then head straight for carnival rides. The following day, we had brunch and dinner together. I had sleep over at her place the next. Then we decided to live in together. I am now the happiest woman in the entire universe! My love was requited. But little did I know that a far worse than having an unrequited love will soon hit me hard.
Seo Yi- Kyung have learnt about her mistake and it was too late. Se Jin is no longer hers. An unknown intel reached her about our not so innocent relationship. According to my sister, it was the first time for them to witness their Chairman Yi-Kyung enraged. A cold kind of rage. The next day after receiving the news about Se Jin and I, unnie found the sleeping quarters of Chairman-nim in total chaos. She even bandaged her wounded left hand. Unnie saw a gold thin bracelet wrapped around it. The name of Lee Se Jin was beautifully engraved on it.
Seo Yi-Kyung and her gang flew to San Francisco. She's very determined to have Se Jin back. And she will do it in any way possible. It is a fight to the death. This Chairman Yi-Kyung does not know how to accept defeat just like me, so here I toast to hell hath no fury. I am not letting Se Jin go without a fight. May the odds be ever in my favor.
