A/N: OMG! This story has over 350 views!!! That's 50 in under 24 hours! I felt like I HAD to update! Thank you all sooooo much!

I spilled. I told Jc everything. I told him about Neal, my parents, and even about me. Things even Katheraine didn't know about. Once I started talking I couldnt stop. After I spent a half hour explaining everything to Jc, he looked completely shocked.

He didn't talk for what seemed like forever. He crutched his eyebrows together and looked confused, "There's still one thing I don't understand... Why did Katheraine demand that no one call the police when Neal attacked you?"

I sighed, "No one's supposed to know I'm here, except for my grandma," The confused look faded from his face. "Remember, you can't tell anyone!" I panicked.

"My lips are sealed," Jc smiled and pretended like he was zipping his mouth and throwing away the key. I laughed at him as a car door slammed outside.

A few seconds later the front door was thrown open. I jumped up and was about to scream until I saw Katheraines's shiny hair from the kitchen. She dropped a bag from the movie store and a huge box of tacos on the table. She sat down on Jc's lap and kissed him.

After watching my friends make out for a few minutes, I cleared my throat loudly. Kat's head snapped up and she looked over at me. "Kyndell's here?" She stated in her blond voice.

"Yup," I responded without giving her a logical explanation as to why I was interrupting her makeout session.

"What movie did you get?" Jc asked as if he actually intended on watching it.

"The Last Song!" She squealed. "Good luck," I mouthed Jc.

For the second time of the night, the door swung open and someone rushed inside, "Kyndell?" I heard him yell from the doorway. Milliseconds later, I saw two sparkling brown eyes peep around the corner. As soon as our eyes met he came over to where I was sitting.

"Why did you leave? I thought something bad happened to you," Sam said, sitting down beside me.

"I was looking for Katheraine. Im sorry, I didn't mean to worry you," I answered.

"It's fine, I was overreacting," Sam smiled and twined our fingers. "So what do you want to do now?" He asked.

"We could either go back and see what the guys are doing or we can stay and watch The Last Song with Jc and Kat," I told him and he looked scared.

"Is this a trick question?" He asked, his eyes widening in concentration. I laughed and pulled him out the door.

As we walked, Sam swung our hands back and forth playfully. I stared at our hands and couldn't help but think about how much I adored Sam. He was amazing, and better yet, he was mine. I couldn't ask for anything better.

We were about to head inside the house when something caught my eye. I stopped walking.

Looking back into the night I watched, making sure I wasn't crazy.

There it was again.

"LIGHTNING BUGS!!!!" I yelled and ran into the backyard. Sam laughed as he joined me on my lightning-bug-catching adventure.

It only took ten minutes for Sam and I to collide. He was jumping after a firefly while I was chasing the exact same one. I ended up on top of Sam and his chest vibrated from his laughter.

Moonlight shone off of Sam's face and I found myself entranced. I moved closer and kissed him. My hands moved themselves to his chest and I felt his hands on my hips.

The kiss didn't last long, but it was perfect. He was perfect.

I tried pulling Sam off of the ground and almost toppled over again. "You're getting cold," Sam kissed my nose and started leading me into the heated house.

When I looked up at Sam again I noticed that he had a lightning bug on his ear. I silently grinned as it flew away.

What did I ever do to deserve Sam?
