Chapter 4

Hanzo Pov

"what has sparked your interest in the Shimada clan?" I ask, she looks up at me, her e/c eyes locking with my brown ones.

As she speaks she doesn't break eye contacted, "searches" she simply said fear could be seen in her e/c eyes.

"searches? Brother what is she talking about?" Genji asks confusion could be heard as he spoke.

Sighing before responding, looking at Genji as I spoke, "if I'm not mistaken, I believe she is talking about the searches for her" I glance at her seeing her nod before I continue.

Reader Pov

Nodding at the oldest dragon brother, he continued to speak.

"and the search for the deadly creature that people say was born in the sun" he said blankly, after hearing him call the phoenix a deadly creature I snapped.

My wings unfolding as my feathers burst into flames, my tail burst into flames along with the three feathers on my head, my once e/c eyes are now the burning color of fire. (sorry if your eyes already looked like fire)

The two brothers turn around looking at me with their mouths open with shock and surprise.

My eyes narrowed as I spoke, "don't you dare ever call my friend a deadly creature, how would you like it if I called your dragon spirits a deadly killing monster" I yell at them.

Brothers Pov

We were in totally shock as the once frighten girl snapped, she kept yelling at us well mainly Hanzo since he called it a deadly creature.

After a few minutes, she seemed to have calmed down a bit, her eyes changed back to there natural color, her wings folded back in but still had a soft glow to them same with her tail and the three feathers that flow down with her h/l h/c hair.

Hanzo Pov

I waited a bit before I spoke, "did you say friend?" I asked her, "yes, me and the phoenix were friends" she said while looking at the ground.

"h-how" I whispered to myself, but apparently, she heard me.

Reader Pov

"w-when I was 5 I met the phoenix in the park, after that, each day my parents left for work she would come and visit me" I said softly but loud enough so they could hear.

"where is she now?" I heard Genji ask, looking up at the brothers, sadness could be heard as I spoke, "s-she's gone".

"where? Where did she go" Hanzo asked strictly making me jump as he spoke, I didn't respond which made him ask again "where is the phoenix!" he demanded.

"she's gone, she gave up her power because of the scientists!" I yell back at him still looking at the ground, "then where is her power" he demanded again.

"where do you think?" I yell at him while unfolding my wings as fire circled around me.

Cliff hanger I already know what it revealed Ijust don't feel like writing anymore today. Also, you can control the glow offire on your phoenix parts, if you don't understand what I mean, then I meanlike you can light the wings and other stuff on fire when ever you want you canalso control the brightness of the fire. The fire is also not hot so anyone cantouch it. Next chapter up soon.
