Mackenzie's POV
Joel was scaring me, he looked extremely angry but I had to keep my secret or I'd be chained to the bed for weeks. I look to Zeke tears in my eyes.
"Please let me go..." I pleaded with Zeke.
"I'm sorry babe, but I have to see..." I shook my head.
"Please don't... Please!" I begged as he reached for my collar, tears slid down my face like a water fall. He slowly undid my collar and once it was off his eyes went big and he took the cloth from my head and placed it to my neck.
"Why didn't you tell me you had a relapse?"Zeke scolded me.
Great, now he knows I tried to kill myself! I thought.
"Joel, call an ambulance..." He murmured as he turned the cloth around on my neck. "She's still bleeding... Thankfully she didn't cut the jugular.." He says to Joel. Joel pulls out his phone.
"Why did you do this to yourself?" Zeke asks.
"I thought you had left... I couldn't bare it..." I said sobbing harder.
"Shhh, it's okay now... I'm here, I won't leave you... We are gonna get you all fixed up, okay?" I nod slowly and he grabs the shackle keys from the bedside table and sets me free. I sit up slowly to get out of bed but Zeke picks me up bridal style.
"The ambulance is on is way..." Joel says disgruntled.Zeke gives Joel a nod before carrying me through the busy bar And then out side to wait for the ambulance. It was already night time and none of us has had a bit to eat all day.
When the ambulance arrived they rushed my into the back ushering Zeke to sit beside me. They had me lay down on the stretcher.
"Okay ma'am, we are going to put you in some restraints..." I flinched the paramedic grabbed my wrist.
"Wait, why?" I asked.
"It's protocol when we get cases like you-" I cut the paramedic off.
"What do you mean cases like me?" The paramedic looks annoyed.
"Just lay back and relax, okay?" I sigh and nod.
"Okay..." I say as I was being restrained. Then all of a sudden I felt a needle jab into my arm.
"Ouch! What the hell is that for?!" I exclaim. My vision almost immediately started to blur and everything started to move slower... Then I fell asleep.
