It had been a long day, a good day, but long as well.

"Can we go back to the hotel?" I turned to Cam.

"Of course," he looked at me sweetly, "but I have to go to the bathroom first."

I nodded my head and we walked towards the public bathroom in the dark of the night.

"Wait here," he said next to a green bench, "I'll be right back."

I don't like to be in the dark alone so I jump at every sound I hear.

Suddenly, I hear a rustling in the bush, I quickly look over and see nothing there, my breathing begins to speed up.

Then I saw a flash of movement near the trees, I start to panic but convince myself its nothing.

The noise and nearby movements stop, and my breathing returns back to normal.

Then I hear something...

Right behind me...

It sounds like someone breathing.

I turn around to look quickly, but am interrupted by a hand covering my mouth blocking out my screams.

Then they cover my eyes.

I struggle but am under the grasp of someone and can't wiggle out of.

I am pulled behind the bathroom where Cameron is.

When they remove their hand I see someone I didn't expect.

Lia.

She's standing there looking very alert, she looks around then looks at me.

I'm speechless. This is not how I expected to find Lia.

"Listen I know you have a lot of questions, but let me explain, you can't trust Cameron. He's lying to you about a lot of things," she told me quickly.

"No, Lia I trust Cameron. He's never randomly left unlike you," suddenly angry that she thought she could just barge in here and tell me who to trust.

"So you know about Brian then?" She challenged me.

"Yes, what about him? Cam met him that night," I asked confused.

"Are you sure about that?" She said then ran off.

"Wait Lia!" I called and she turned towards me, "are you in trouble?"

"I'll tell you soon."

"Aria!" I heard a voice call, "Aria! Come on, are you okay?"

It was Cameron.

I stepped out from behind the building.

His eyes flashed to me full of concern and he ran over and scooped me up in a hug.

I couldn't help but sink further into his embrace for a second thinking he cared.

No. He doesn't. Maybe he's just using me to find Lia.

I pushed him off and stepped back slightly angry, and afraid.

I didn't want to do this, but I don't even know if I can trust him.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" He stepped closer, looking at me once more with concern.

I looked away, "You lied."

"About what? Please look at me," he pleaded.

I didn't look, "Brian," is all I said.

"Look, I'm going to be honest, I did. I didn't know if I could trust you," he stepped closer again. I stepped back.

"I trusted you," I snapped, "Explain. Everything."

I saw a pained expression in his eyes, "I can't."

"Why!?" Now I looked up into his eyes with full rage in mine.

"I need to protect myself. I'm sorry. I will tell you something though," I sighed and sat on the bench.

I didn't move.

"I know who drugged you. I lied, and I know I should have told you but then you would ask questions and-" I interrupted him.

"Who?" I felt a tear slip from my eye as I waited to hear the name.

"Brian."

I looked up at him again.

"Also known as my brother."

"How could you not tell me this! I had the right to know!" I yelled at him and he looked down.

"I'm going back to the hotel," I sighed and began to walk to the hotel.

"Wait, you take my car, I don't want you to get hurt," he said holding the keys out.

I took the keys looked at him for a moment then went back to the hotel rethinking everything that just happened.

Brian drugged me.

Brian is Cameron's brother.
