Chapter Three: A Proper Start

Your POV

The past week has been one of the best I've ever had. Spending time with Lucario is just wonderful. Telling silly stories and shenanigans. Just being in his presence was reconforting. I never wanted the week to end, but alas it was over. It was hard accepting that, today, I had to say goodbye and probably never see lucario again. He would probably go back to his cave and I would go back to my normal life. But I couldn't shake the feeling that it wouldn't feel normal anymore. That despite it only being a week I'd sorely miss his company. I didn't know how to process this, neither would I have the time cause just now Nurse Joy came in telling us Lucario can leave now. I stare blankly at nothing while I help him out of the bed. As I do this I finally am able to see just how tall he is. He's very talk for a Lucario. He's as tall as me. But again as we walk out of the room my mind goes back to the goodbye. I get an avalanche of emotions that I don't understand or know how to cope with. My body may be here but my mind is off somewhere where it doesn't want to be.
We walk out the doors and head to the place where we met. When we finally got there we stopped and I looked into his eyes, probably for the last time.
"I-I think this is goodbye" I say as I feel my eyes begin to sting.
"Yeah... I guess" He says scratching the back of his head.
"I..." I don't finish my sentence as I wrap my arms around him tightly and he hugs me back. My head is pressed against his shoulder as tears flow down my eyes.
Once I stopped we broke the hug. I looked into his eyes
"G-goodbye Lucario" I said finally
"Goodbye Y/n" He said as he started walking towards the forest.
Lucario's POV

I felt horrible when i had to say goodbye to y/n. He is the nicest person I've met. Sigh. I keep trailing through the forest as I remember the wonderful time I had with y/n. His smile, that look he had when he was excited about something. It was a wonderful time and I had half a mind to go back to him. But would y/n be ok with it? Well he was crying when we parted, but all goodbyes are sad. As i was circling these thoughts I felt a pair of arms wrap around my chest so suddenly I nearly jumped.
"Lucario I can't. I need you with me, please." Said the sweet voice of y/n behind me. I felt so overjoyed by this. I turned around and looked at him.
"Oh y/n I was thinking the same thing" I said as I turned and hugged him. After a while we broke the hug and stared at each other silently.
Your POV

I had to break the ice. But how could I ask him this. Well guess it's now or never
"Lucario?"
"Yes y/n?"
"Wouldyouliketogolivewithme?"
"I'm sorry, didn't catch that"
I took a deep breath and repeated
"Would you like to go live with me?"
I went red and covered my face with my arms. Only to be opened by Lucario who said.
"Of course I'd love to live with you y/n. If it's ok with you."
"Of course it's ok with me silly!" I said smiling.
I then grabbed his hand and we headed to my (soon to be our) house.

(A/n: this is what your house looks like, btw it's far away from any other house meaning it's just outside the forest)
Lucario's POV

I was astonished when i saw y/n's house. It was huge and beautiful, it fit y/n's personality perfectly.
"Shall we go inside?" Said y/n looking at me smiling.
"Sure let's go" I said
Once we were inside I saw hou the house was even prettier from the inside than from the outside.
"Hey Lucario" said y/n
"Yes y/n?"
"Come I wanna show you something" he said as he grabbed my hand and took me upstairs. He then took me into a room with 4 HUGE speakers and and inmense amount of discs and vinyls.
"Whoa!" I exclaimed
He then started digging through the shelves of vinyls as if looking for something. He then proceded to take one out with some odd artwork.

He quickly inserted the firat disc into a record player and selected track 3.

He the walked towards me and grabbed my hands. He then started shaking and looked at me smiling.
"This is the song I talked to you about back at the hospital. Remeber?"
I didn't know what to do, the melody didn't seem to have a constant rithm with which to dance to.
"How can you dance this? I has no rithm!"
"You don't dance it to the rithm silly! You dance to the melody!" Y/n responded.
He then started guiding me throw the furst part of the song, then i started catching on. Our movements just became wilder and wilder as we danced together through the rest of the song.
When the song ended we tried to strike a pose but y/n tripped and I caught him with one of my paws behind his head and another behind his back. I looked into his e/c eyes and he looked into mine. We slowly inched our faces closer to each other. I could feel his breath on me when our lips connected. His lips were so soft and warm I lost myself. When we beoke the kiss he looked at me and caressed my cheek.

I think I'm gonna love living with y/n.

Oh what things await you. How will this turn out. What will people think. So many things happening so fast. Oh but we'll just have to see how this develops.
