Ava's Pov

Ava grew up with an unpredictable family. Her dad worked as a miner in Oklahoma; while her mom was a stripper at a night club called "One Dollar Bills". Ava's Dad approved of his wives behavior, because he always dreamt of his wife becoming a stripper while he worked off the land. Ava on the other hand was ashamed of her parents, so she did the only thing she could think of and that was to become a rebel. She cut her long raven hair shoulder length, brought brown contacts to hide her natural green eyes, and she brought an entirely new wardrobe. She was now known as the bad girl at Eastview High School.

Jasper's Pov

Jasper started to become known as a bad boy when his mom got in a terrible car accident two years ago; which left his mom in a coma for nine months. A week ago from today is when the doctors had to finally pull the plug. Which left his dad completely devastated, because they've been married since they both attended Eastview High School in 1973. Where they were childhood sweethearts. His dad became behaving in strange ways. He would go out at the crack of dawn and wouldn't come back until the next morning. When he did come back he would reek of alcohol. Jasper just figured it was his way of coping. Jasper had his own way of coping with the loss of his mother. He started swearing like a sailer and smoking in his free time. He found his own reality.
