My Darling Reaper--The Witch and the Shinigami

The Mansion

Wow...

"C'mon!", Death the Kid lead her to the abandoned mansion.

The door was creaky and moldy.It had appeared to be attacked by moss.Kid opened the door with a creak.The smell of old filled both their nostrils.

"Wow.", Crona breathed.

"Yeah.Cool right?"

"Yea."

They walked inside.It was all empty, no furniture or anything.They heard the water outside.

Water....it could rain....

"Let's explore inside for just a little bit, because it might rain.

" 'kay.

They looked around the mansion.It looked like the inside of the palace.Kid remembered a legend around it.

"They say that there's the ghost of a little girl on the fourth floor.But she means no harm and only wants to play because no one else would play with her.This mansion is REALLY old.And when I was little I went up to the fourth floor to see if it was true.It turns out--''

They both heard something shatter.Crona jumped, shivering and clutched Kid's arm.He blushed and looked to find that a black cat had somehow got in and knocked over an antique lamp.The cat hissed at the broken glass, but looked as if it knew Kid and rubbed his leg and purred.

"--that the cries of the little girl they heard was just the meows of this cat.This cat was just a kitten back then.I went upstairs and found this.I guess I've forgotten about him."

He picked him up and studied its face.

"He's so symmetrical.", He sighed

"And friendly!", Crona said, petting the cat, who purred deeply and curled its tail around the girl's finger.

She seems to really love cats...

Kid studied her out of the corner of his eye.

She's so beautiful when she smiles.

The cat jumped out of his arms and ran off outside.

"Let's go outside.",

Crona followed the shinigami outside.There was a beautiful river that went all around the back yard, like a snake.

"Look at this.", He lead her to a big beautiful tree by the river.He sat under the tree, admiring the river.

"I used to do this a lot when I was little.I would watch the fish, then fall asleep until Father would pick me up."

Crona laughed.

I made her laugh....

She sat down beside him.He soon heard her fall asleep, her head leaning on his chest.

She's so cute.

He kissed the top of her head before dozing off as well.
