Somewhere in the distance, there's this girl surrounded by a black picket fence.
Unable to move, to feel, to see the light of day.
Smiling and waving, seeing the people pass- living their lives.
Until suddenly...
Something or someone is standing at her fence, egging her to come step out.
This someone got places no one else got.
They got in the mind of mine.
The happiness she feels for one is... excruciating.
The person intrigued her and somewhat made her feel.
Before then, she was numb to the feel of anything.
She only ever got angry or really depressed.
He- he brought the light out in her.
This lasted only a short time, as everything does.
She couldn't fathom what had went wrong with them.
She knew she wasn't intriguing enough, pretty enough, or even worth the time.
So, she was pushed back into her fence.
Watching the faces pass again.
Deeper and deeper she falls into the corner of the fence, farther away from the people.
Of course, scared to get close to anyone else.
Now she pretends, "yes I'm happy".
"Of course I don't care about what he says."
The feeling in her chest angers her more then anything.
"Let him go!" She thinks.
But, he's still there pretending.
