"Aren't you scared of me" the boy asked, a shadow casting on his face from the lack of light.
"Now why would I be scared of you?" Aspasia asked in amusement
"I could be a murderer" he offered
"So could I"
The boy rolled his eyes in the dark and automatically liked this strange girl
"I could be a thief"
"Oh yes let's rob a children's hospital of their medicines and cute lil' gowns, eh? How about we play princesses with the gowns too!" She mocked, sarcastically.
"Geez sugar lips you're something else" the boy muttered
"I guess I am- hey wait! My lips are made not of sugar you litt-"
"It's a pet name dollface"
"Fine then, I'll pet name you...."
"No it's a guys thin-"
"Cherub cheeks!"
"Nope." He deadpanned
"You'll be my cherub cheeked bonbon and we'll be the best of friends, oh my that'd be wonderful. My friends stopped visiting me now" Aspasia' excited voice died down as she reminisced the heart breaking memory of how her mother cackled in her face and told a confused Ave of how she'd broken a friendship. A friendship which was the only thing that kept Ave going.
"What's your name?" The emerald eyed girl asked the stranger
"Zabala, Jed, Zabala" he smirks and walks into the light
She gasped and smiled "you're Axels' brother aren't ya" she stated
"You know him?"
"Boy do I ever, he's a great kid, really loves his big brother you know"
"I know" he whispered softly
"His room is 11E on the second floor" she stated before the question could leave Jed's mouth.
He glanced at her warily but the look on her face told him she was as serious as one could be, he saluted her before silently walking out the room leaving behind a joyful Aspasia
"Did'ya see that Baker? I made a new friend!" Aspasia whispered to her stuffed tiger in unfathomable excitement.

Back at it again with a new book! Sorry I was struck with inspiration and was like "Hot damn! Should turn this idea into a thing" here for you, Is that 'thing'
