I walked down the hallway looking around and the bathroom door hit me. All my stuff fell out of my hands and I bent down to pick it up and she came from down the hall just to help me pick them up. We both reached for the last paper and our hands met. She quickly pulled her hand away and stood up.
"Thanks," I said, "I'm Julia Reynolds."
"Im Jennifer Lawrence," she replied.
She looked at my schedule and said she'd show me around. This is going out great until I got assigned to a window seat in science class. The sun was shining through the window and it burnt my skin. I've never had a problem with the sun before so why all of a sudden does it hurt? I put on my jacket even though it was over a hundred degrees outside. Jennifer sat down next to me and started mixing stuff into a beaker. A girl sitting in the chair behind tapped me on the shoulder.
"You're all going to die," she whispered, "Trust no one."
Her eyes started to glow red and as I turned back around and whatever was in the beaker exploded I cover my face and glass went into my arm and in my hair. There was blood on the desk and all over my arm so I quickly ran out the classroom. I walked quickly down the empty halls and into the bathroom I took the glass out of my arm and watched it heal. After I was done rinsing the blood of so no one would see my arm healed. As I was cleaning the glass out my hair Jennifer walked in and asked if I needed help. She walked over and started taking the glass out my hair. I looked into her eyes and she looked into mine
"I think I got it all," she said.
"Um thanks," I replied, "Do u wanna come over after school, I need help with this science stuff."
"Yes I'll be there," she answered quickly.
She avoided me the rest of the day but I couldn't figure out why. After school I heard the doorbell ring from up the stairs. I ran to the door trying to catch my breath. I let her into the house not knowing I was letting something much greater.
