This dedicated to @Hufflepuffgirl1010, because she got the answer in the last poem right.
Love is the mans greatest invention,
but also his worst.
If you fall in love and get married,
your heart feels afloat and light.
If you get your heart broken by someone you love,
It's like you're stuck in the quicksand,
trying to claw your way out,
but never succeeding.
If you never feel love,
You haven't ever been stuck on the island of despair.
You've never been stuck crying your eyes out because of a broken heart.
But you have also never felt like you're flying,
or like you're on cloud nine.
Love can make you.
However, it can also break you.
