'Wahhh that flight was waaaay too long, all of my muscles have frozen in place!' The girl thought while walking off the planes ramp into the airport. Safely out of other passengers' way, she dropped all her stuff near the wall and tried her best to stretch her aching back. While reaching towards the roof, to straighten her spine, she girl took in her surroundings. The airport wasn't the largest she's ever been in, but it was pretty and clean. There were people EVERYWHERE.
'Whoa... I thought this was a less popular airport! Isn't this just a country town?' Dropping her arms, the girl focused on one of the signs. 'Ah, bag pick-up is over there?' The girl picked up her carry-ons and began to walk towards where she expected her suitcase to arrive.
Looking around, she began to get more excited, her eyes widening at all of the new scenery. As her excitement reached a fever pitch, she noticed a woman with gorgeous black hair and glasses holding a sign with 'Welcome to Japan, (L/N)!' on it in bold, black and orange lettering.
The girl could no longer contain her excitement and beamed at the older woman while half-walking, half-running over towards her. When she got in front of the lady, she remembered her manners and bowed (a little sloppily) towards the woman and said, "Hello! Thank you for watching over me while I'm here in Japan! I'll be in your care! Umm... Shimizu...san...?" The girl stood back up and beamed, probably, the largest smile she had ever given. The woman just smiled calmly at the girl and responded with a small nod. "I'm glad you arrived safely. How was the plane ride?" The woman asked slowly, ignoring the girl's slight hesitation when confirming the woman's last name.
The girl watched the lady's lips as the she spoke, careful not to miss a single syllable.
"The trip was pleasant!" The girl responded. She wanted to say more, but her mind went a little blank as to what else to add. Not that her Japanese was particularly bad, but her brain was overloading from the 20 hour plane ride, and all of the new information that was presented to her. She noticed at that moment how tired she was, mentally and physically.
'Jetlag.' The woman thought, also noticing how the girl slightly sagged under the weight of her luggage. The woman giggled quietly, "Let's get your things in the car. You can sleep on the way to the house." The woman finished, smiling sweetly to the girl.
'She's... an angel...' The girl thought, looking at the woman in awe. The woman then turned around to walk towards her car that was parked outside the glass doors, and the girl jolted out of her awe. Gripping the handle of her bag tightly and grabbing the strap of her backpack hanging heavily over her shoulder, she took the first official steps towards her new adventure in a new country.
"Japan, here I come."

"Everyone, I have a slight announcement." Shimizu Kiyoko stated, walking into the bus last. Immediately, all eyes were focused on the beautiful girl. She could feel how exhausted everyone was, but she wanted to take this opportunity to inform them of the adjustment to her schedule, because she wasn't sure she would have much time later seeing how some of the boys were already drifting off to sleep.
"I won't be attending morning practices for a couple days." She stated. It took about minute for the bus of boys to respond to her words.
"EHHHHH? Why?!" Tanaka yelled, a little half-heartedly due to his tiredness. Nishinoya and the rest simply stared at her with wide eyes, not having enough energy to speak.
"My family is taking care of an exchange student from (Y/C) the next few months, and I'm going to make sure they don't get lost on their way to school for the first couple days." She finishes. All the boys just looked at her blankly, making her feel like their brains were too tired to register what she had said. She turned her head to Yachi. The short blond just smiled and nodded, taking the hint that she would be in charge of reminding them later when they forget. Shimizu took her seat and looked out the window.
'I wonder what the exchange student is like...' She sighed and looked at her phone. Reading the text she received from her mom.
"(L/N)-san made it here safely and we're headed home now."

"Wow! Your house is beautiful, Shimizu-san!" The girl gazed at the house that she would be living in for a while.
"Thank you. Please follow me, I'll show you to your room." The woman said with a smile while picking up the girl's backpack from the backseat. Turning towards the house, the two walked inside. Following the woman's example, the girl took her shoes off and replaced them with a pair of slippers that Mrs. Shimizu handed her. The woman set off towards the stairs while the new resident stared at the interior in awe. Everything was so ... different.
"(L/N)-san?" Mrs. Shimizu called, bringing the girl back to reality. The girl blushed a bit and followed the woman to her new room. It was small, but it wasn't uncomfortable.
'Cozy!' The girl smiled, placing her bags down on her clean bed. She turned back to the woman, "Thank you again for letting me stay at your home." She said to the woman, bowing again.
'What good manners!' The woman thought while smiling back. 'She'll be fine.' She sighed. Truthfully, she was a bit worried about having to take care of an exchange student, but seeing how respectful (L/N) was, the woman relaxed.
"Please take your time and relax, dinner will be ready in an hour." The woman responded. The girl straightened back up as the woman closed the door behind her.
Letting out a sigh to help relax, the newcomer sat down on the bed with a bit of a flop. Taking in her surroundings, she smiled at how much care the family put into setting up the room for her. There was a twin-sized bed, a small closet, a desk accompanied with a small lamp, a comfortable-looking swivel chair, and a chest-of-drawers. Yes, the room had very little, but that was perfect for the girl. She sighed with a smile and layed back on her bed, letting her feet dangle.
'I have to rest well today,' she thought, "tomorrow is my first day at a new high school!' This thought made her smile grow larger. 'AAH, why can't it be tomorrow already?!' She wiggled, kicking the air with her feet.
She then bolted up out of bed remembering that Mrs. Shimizu had told her that she had picked up the girl's school uniform the day before yesterday. The girl strode over to the closet and quickly opened it revealing the grey skirt and tan sweater vest. Excitement and nervousness coursed through her veins as she lightly touched the grey fabric.
"Karasuno High, huh?" The girl thought aloud holding the necktie in her small hands, "Bring. It. On!"
