Moriko's P.OV

I was wandering, wandering around to nowhere. My hunger was eating me up. I had to eat something. Anything. A great idea popped into my head. 'Steal'.

I smirked, "Steal.." I hissed into the quiet morning air. Looking up at the sky, little clumps of grey clouds were gathering together. Rain. I held up my right hand over my tight eyebrow. A small village appeared up ahead.

"That won't be hard. I guess..." I sighed and my stomach growled again, for the thousandths time. Grabbing my jade green dagger, I hid it inside my right brown boot. I started running at a steady pace, thinking of a plan to steal my breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack or whatever you wanted to call it.

Up ahead I saw a fruit stand. I happily walked past it liked I was the 'happiest' person in the world. I reached out my left hand and grabbed the closet fruit and sprinted.

"Thief!!!!" The lady at stand screamed, pointing a finger at me. I quirked my eyebrow and continued to sprint towards the forest, unaware red eyes followed me.

I huffed, leaning on a shady tree and slid down. That was soooo easy, way to easy. Biting on my red apple, "An apple!" I smiled. I was taking my second bite when a kunai whizzed passed my left ear, cutting the tip open. My fingers flew up towards it, glaring at where it came from. A armoured man stepped out of the shadows. Eyes blazing red stared into my brown hazel ones. My proud face turned into fear.

Yet again I found myself sprinting away from danger. I was a orphan. My mum and dad disappeared when I was really young. All my friends and family started disappearing one by one. My Clan was called the Forest Clan. we were the branches of the villages. That's all I know.

Rent was due, they kicked me out. I was lost, a lost wanderer. Where was I suppose to go? Into the darkness. In my world, there was no such thing as happiness. In my world, I could only pretend. Pretend to be happy, when I never, ever will be.

I knew this forest really well, I was raised here, by myself.

Quickly taking a left turn, then a right them another left. I found myself climbing frantically up a tall Sakura tree. I climbed to the very top, with red eyes gaining on me really fast. Never in my life had I had to run this fast. I was stuck. My hazel eyes darted around for a escape route but I found none. None at all.

I took shaky breaths and decided to grab my jade dagger, from my right boot.

"Moriko, from the Forest clan . You are under arrest for stealing a apple." The man with red eyes said, appearing right in front of me.

"H-how do you know my name?" I asked frantically. This was not good. I was going to go to jail! No way.

I didn't wait for a grunt or an answer. I flipped backwards off the tree, free falling into, nowhere, wait, the ocean. Gathering chakra into the bottom of my feet, I darted down onto the water's surface, running away.

Before I even got 2 meters, my hunter appeared right in front of me, kunai to my throat.

"Don't move." Two words I hated hearing.

I flicked my right hand and successfully cut off some of his long black hair, I grinned. Sliding out if his grip I threw several smoke bombs and sprinted again. Tora, mi, uma, tori, i. Five simple hand signs. "Twisted vines block!"

Several vines appeared in a long shield-wall in front of me. I quickly did another 3 handsigns, mi, uma, hitsuji. "SUMMONING JUTSU!"

My beautiful white wolf appeared, it was a he. I jumped onto his back and he sprinted off into the forest, after a long run on the ocean.

I panted. Even though I didn't do anything. "Tyler, I think we lost him. For the moment."

Tyler grunted in response. 'I'll be going...' He whispered in my ear. I shivered and he poofed away.

I sighed, sitting, again, under a very tall tree. Drip, drip, drop. Drip, drip, drop. My shiny, hazel eyes, gazed up into the almost night sky. It was raining, raining means sad. But it doesn't really matter. I'm always sad. I can only pretend one day I'll finally be happy, maybe it won't even come, at all.

Hugging my knees tight, I felt the rain slowly pour down, as if it was cloaking my sadness, I already had. I was sleepy.

I bolted up. "Who's there?" I yelled, grabbing a kunai from my pouch. I hate rustling in the bushes. That meant bad, really bad. No way, he couldn't have caught up that fast!

"Looking for me?" He whispered in my ear. My hazel eyes widened in surprise and fear. I took away the fear. My only emotion should be sadness nothing else. But that was impossible. I trained myself to be happy. Happy people live longer, right? My happiness was not true happiness.

I turned around, only to see his cold eyes stare into mine, and swiftly he knocked my out.
