The Will

It had been a week since my parents died in that accident. To tell you the truth I wasn't that hurt about it. I knew I'd survive it. They lead their lives with the luxurious money could buy and am sure they are laughing in their richly made graves.

It was the day father's will was going to be read. Non of my family members were here at the attorney's office. Simply because Father removed all connections with them. Only my Aunt Ava was here.

I sat down with my aunt while waiting for the man to read the Will. I wore a black dress and sun glasses. It was dark inside but I had to hid my eyes since they spoke no pain. I summed it up with an Alexander McQueen hat.

My aunt simply wore a plain black dress that covered her whole body. I didn't quite get her choice of style. She was really pretty with Dark hair and green eyes. After her husband's death she simply went dead. She lost all her reasons to live.

Mr Smith who was our family lawyer and a good friend of Father looked at both of us.

"I hope you are all doing well and coping with the loss" He said sincerely.

"Yes Andrew, Sabrina and I are doing much better" My Aunt said holding my hand. I couldn't help but feel safe.

"Would you like anything before the Will is read?" He asked eyeing me.

"No need. Just get done with it." I finally spoke.

He looked at me then my Aunt and begun to read

"I Benjamin Alexander Hernneoux being in my right state of physical and mental health hear by leave all my Estates, country houses, The Hernneoux chain of international hotels, the chairmanship of the Hernneoux group of companies and all my properties including my bank accounts to my sister Ava Elizabeth Hernneoux and that my daughter Sabrina Kingsley Hernneoux be excluded from any claim to my fortune".

" What?" I didn't recognize the sound of my voice before I rose from my chair.

"What do you mean father left everything to my Aunt?  Am his only Child!  His only heir" I shouted.

"Sabrina Calm down honey " My Aunt tried to reason with me.

I turned to her with full rage.

"Calm down? Eazy for you to say! You are now the owner of everything that is rightfully mine! And you expect me to calm down? Now I know why you stuck with us after your old man of a husband died! To manipulate my father to name you his heir!" I stated without even choosing the right words. At this point I was in full rage.

I saw hurt in her eyes before she blinked it away. I can't believe I said that to her. The one woman who cared for me like her own daughter. Even my dear dead mother couldn't catch up to her. And I called her a manipulator and a greedy person.

"Aunt Ava..." I begun.

"That's enough Sabrina" She said with all the dignity of the Hernneoux.

She turned to the lawyer

"Thank you Andrew. Sabrina and I will leave now. Thank you for your support" she shook hands with him.

"Anything for you Mrs Whimberly. And am sorry for your loss" He smiled. He turned to address me

"Miss Hernneoux.. "

I quickly took my purse and left.

Our drive to the house was filled with silence like no other. I couldn't bring myself to even look at her. I just wished we'd arrive at the Manor fast and have myself looked in my room.

"Sabrina.." She begun softly

"So what's gonna happen to me? Am nothing now. I have nothing to my name. Only the shame of being a Hernneoux" I cut her off.
