The party

I decided to wear yellow dress that was just below my knees and a jacket just incase it gets cold. Usually I liked my dresses short and attractive. To show my rebellion to my late parents. I was thinking of just calling it ill and not go. But the rich cream can be so cruel to whoever wanted to join and didn't practically fit in. Not that Emma didn't fit in she just didn't have that savageness spoiled brats had. Ones like Elaina.

It was around 7 pm when Emma's car came to pick me up. I promised I'd be back before 11 pm. Usually I'd last till 4 in the morning before I went home. Ooh those memories. This sweet sweet memories. Emma was dressed in black in a tight dress that hugged her curves. Well someone wanted to make a first good impression into Roesburn society. Her sister who I learned was named Erica was driving us there.

After what seemed  like an hour or so we pulled into the DuPort mansion. Just outside you can hear the loud music being played inside. We got off and walked to the front door. Emma giggling like a little girl.

"OMG Sabrina this is so cool. I am finally attending one of the school parties. And all these started happening after you moved to our school. Such a life saver" She held my hands.

"Just don't let your enthusiasm get the best of you. These people can be cruel" I warned her.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked confused.

"Let's find out" was all I said.

We rang the door bell on the large double door and a few seconds later the door was opened. A guy holding a glass of punch which am sure had alcohol in it opened.

"Hey, We didn't invite tabloid bloggers! This is a closed party" He said looking at Emma.

Anger flashed into my eyes. Emma looked down like she was about to start crying.

"Let's get out of here Emma" I took her hand and begun walking away.

Emma just nodded and begun walking with me but was stopped by a familiar voice.

"Sabrina Kingsley"

I turned to find non other than Zaylen Thane.

"Those are my guests" He told the guy before motioning for us to get in.

"Thanks" Was all I said.

I sat with Emma on one of the Couches and drunk our Sodas. One thing about being Just Sabrina Kingsley was that I didn't have to drink. Well this was fun.

Emma saw some familiar faces and rose to go have chitchats with them leaving me alone.

I took the moment to study the house. It had an exotic colour on the wall. Like cream or something. The house spoke elegance with its unique vintage vases and furniture. The DuPorts knew how to live in style.

The music was becoming increasingly uncomfortable for me. Almost waking the devilish me. I needed to get someone air.

I walked upstairs where I was told had a peaceful balcony.

I found it so refreshing. It was quiet and had a great view. I was about to drift into deep thinking when I heard a voice.

"The great Sabrina Hernneoux can't handle a simple New York party that she has to get away? Or is it not her territory?"

I almost jumped. That earned me an almost laugh from him. I dare to say he looked kinda cute laughing. Well kinda.

"What is it now?" I asked.

"It surprises me how you can pull such an act. Pretending to be the darling transfer student while we all know what you really are. The tabloids never failed to miss a detail about you"
