Chapter 2

Pretty soon we've gone through all off the building, with Keith, Ned and Zak giving little tours along the way. Eugene, however, keeps quit, only talking when he anounces he has a shoot soon. You shake off his bad vibe, telling yourself he just had a bad day. "Sorry about him" Ned suddenly says, taking a few steps back to keep up with you. "His girlfriend recently cheated on him, and he hasn't been the same since." His words make you feel sorry for Eugene, as you, and probably most other people have gone through it. You just nod your head. "And here is the try guys room!" (Idk if this is a thing, but in my book it is😂) we enter a huge, vast space with a white sheet at the back, with plenty of cameras facing it. "So Megan," Keith starts, "you did really well today, you impressed us with your humour, and pissing Eugene 3 minutes into the job," he pauses, "so we are proud to say, we want you to be the only try girl!" They all shout. You smile at them all, and thank them.

Suddenly, the door crashes open, and everyone goes quit. In walks Eugene, confidently striding over to you. He completely ignores you, and simply turns to the other try guys and states ; "we have a shoot soon, come on!" He pauses for a second, then looks directly at me. "The intern can leave, her work is done." I look at him confused cause a) I'm not an intern and b) I just got the god damn job here! I'm about to shout something like that, when I feel a hand on my back. "It's not worth it" Zak mutters, "he wants a reaction." I turn my scowl into a smile, and politely say:" actually, I'm not an intern," pause for dramatic effect," and also, I just got a job here, soo.." I trail off, still smiling. "What are you working as?" He demands. "She's a try girl, eug." Ned says proudly. Eugene turns and stares at me, and if looks could kill, I'd be dead.
