Jasmine's POV

"Cheer Practice." Lauren said reminding me.

"I know..."

"Guess who our Captain is?"

"I don't know. You?" I said sarcastically.

"Yeah!"

"Funny. Give me a B!" I said about to spell out her name.

"Give me an I!" She said, about to spell...you know, yeah.

"Lauren..."

"What? She IS a pregnant female dog. What's that called again? Oh right. A B-"She was saying before she covered mouth.

"Ugh. I wonder what misery she's putting us through today..." I said

"She could put us at the bottom of the pyramid..."

"Not THAT BAD."

"She could make us sit in the sidelines."

"Bring it on."

"She could kick us off the squad and our cheerleading dreams will never come true."

"WHAT?!? CAN SHE DO THAT? She can't do that! She wouldn't steep THAT LOW! She wouldn't dare! I'd like to see her try!"

"Easy Tiger. In order for her to get us kicked off the squad, the other girls have to agree with her. If not, she can't do anything."

"Then we're safe. Pheeew."

"Not quite. Bethany owns this school. Every girl wants to be her and every girl does whatever she wants."

"Not every girl."

"What are you talking about?"

"You and me."

"When did you get all feisty?"

"Someone taught me not to let people bully you and make you feel less than who you really are. It was only until now that I realized that you were right."

"Oh? And why is that?"

"Because in Florida, we were the head of the school. But we were never like Bethany. We were different from her. We were different from her right?"

"Of course we were. She's the Wicked Witch of the East and West and North and South." She said and then we laughed.

"Let's go." I said.

"Is Nathan going to wait for us?"

"We have cheer practice and they football practice." I said.

"Figures." We both said at the same time and then went to the locker room. We wore the school cheer t-shirts and shorts. I tied my hair back and so did Lauren. We put on our shoes and headed to the field.

When we got to the field, we saw the football team getting ready to practice. I saw Nathan and I waved at him and he waved back. I looked at Lauren and then I looked back up and I saw Kyle. He waved at me and smiled, so I waved back and gave him a small smile. I don't want to focus on him too much. I went down that path already, no thank you. I basically gave him everything and then he just dumps me for this older girl. But, I think Kyle is different, hopefully he is. But, he did go out with Bethany, so there's obviously something wrong with him.

"Hi Jasmine. Hi Lauren." Bethany said walking up to the both of us and we looked at each other. "Look, I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I just wanna say I'm Sorry." She added and we looked at each other confused. We looked at Hilary and she was too.
