Hello dear readers. Unfortunately this is the opposite of an update. I plan on abandoning Dog Season. I have absolutely no inspiration left for this book and I don't even write dog related books anymore. I'm truly sorry for letting you guys down. So here's a rough summary of what was going to occur:
Charity fears that since she is a three legged dog she will be an easy target for challenging for her leadership but it never happens. And later they occur an enemy dog pack and it turns out Hunter (the yellow lab/Kimora's mate) is a spy for the pack. THEN it turns out Hunter is a spy for the humans as well. He had a tracking device on him the whole time. *GASP!* He's a double double crosser. Humans kill a lot of the enemy pack and they also kill Kimora. That is Charity's breaking point and she is shot as well but is alive. When she wakes her pack is in a shelter (i didn't think this through i know it makes no sense). They break out of the shelter and Charity and the leader of the enemy pack agree to team up and kill Hunter for revenge. Charity noticed she's been losing dogs she loves and ends it with Cori. Cori is devastated and resigns as Beta. Charity goes without a beta for a quite a while until she later confessed that she broke up with Cori because she didn't want to see him die like the other dogs she's loved (like that would help jeez Charity). Cori forgives Charity and they make up and become mates again. And they raise their adopted pups together. In the end, they find Hunter and Charity does the dirty work of ripping his throat out. Before getting his throat ripped out, Hunter tells them that Dog Season is over (he's not lying). Now that there is peace, the two packs merge with Charity as the leader. Fast forward, Charity and Cori have six pups plus the adopted pups are grown and high-ranking dogs. They find a new large patch of territory and everything is good. THE END
