The bed seems to be nothing. Absolutely invisible. But in reality it's just a space where air collects and forms in the shape of a King Size bed. It's wickedly freaky.
But, considering everything else that's happened, this is pretty normal. Everything in the apartment style house floats on legitimate thin air. The TV seems to just be in the air, and the couch, table, fridge, even myself. It's something like the glass penthouses way up in skyscrapers, except I can feel the outside breeze and all the walls and floors look to be just sky. It's pretty befitting to my element.
I walk over to a room filled with gears and technological knicknacks, my little workshop of sorts. It's filled with equipment from circuit boards to industrial lasers. It's a nerd dream come true. The room is completely clear of anything other than equipment and a single toolshed. The door closes behind me and I sit down on an air chair I create with my wind specialty. I'm getting used to this thing pretty quickly.
I create a wind platform, reminiscent of a work bench, and reach out to grab a carbonated 12"x4" CO2 cylinder and connect it to a 4"x4.5" metal tube. I modify the tube to allow me to hook a trigger into it and I take a pencil off the wall as well. I load the little mini cannon with the pencil and I shoot it across the room. It hits the wall with a whoosh and floats in place. I get up and walk out of the room and go into a side room. What I find inside is absolutely insane.
What has to be thousands, if not, millions of books stand parallel to one another, stacked in what seems to be a bookshelf tall enough for Hagrid himself to need a ladder.
I float up and find titles from authors like Plato, Karl Marx, Shakespeare, Galileo Galilei, and even Sun Tzu. A university class library specialized with knowledge on practicality anything, all for me. I wonder who created all these apartments for us. Whoever did has to be a GENIUS!
I descend and make my way out of the room, walking to my living room. As I sit down, I hear light rapping on my front door. I walk over and shout, "Who?"
"Tis I, your Master, Tobleman. I'm just letting you know that we're all meeting up with each other in about 5 minutes in the MMR. That's short for Main Mingle Room. Please do get comfortable and feel free to do as you please. But do not, however, show up late. We don't have much time to waste. See you in 5, Wind Storm!" he says, his footsteps making distinct echoes in the hall.
I almost forgot that we were in a dire situation. One of which, I'm beginning to realize, I don't even know what the hell is. I don't have a damned clue. I don't even fucking know the people I'm apparently supposed to fight alongside besides the fact that we attend the same school. I barely know the man I'm clinging onto every fuckin word to, mindlessly listening like a lost child. This whole situation just screams WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HELL!
Calm down, Kazē. You're panicking to no avail. I think to myself. Freaking out won't help in the slightest. You don't even use profane language. You're becoming lesser than yourself. The best thing to do is to just keep everything simple and take things in as you go. It'll all make sense soon, hopefully.
I take a deep breath and walk back over to my living room and sit on the couch. I check my watch, cracked from my fight with Butch and the mysterious man, and see that about two minutes have passed since Tobleman was at my door. Which, speaking of, he never mentioned how to get to the MMR. That would have been nice to know. I get up and enter my bedroom. There's a Galaxy Note 8 on the dresser along with a mini toolbox. They must know I love to jailbreak and mod phones. I pick up and swipe the screen. On the screen, it shows 1 missing notification. A text from Tobleman.
'To get to the MMR, use your keyblade and point to any door while thinking of the letters MMR. The door will shine for a moment and go back to normal. Walk through and you'll be in the MMR. Safe travels!- Tobleman'
Well I guess it doesn't hurt to try. I think of my wind key manifesting in my hand and with a breeze it appears. I point it towards my bedroom door and a line of light shoots out of the end, revealing a keyhole and a bright light on the door. As the light fades, I step up to the doorknob and twist. As the door opens, I remind myself to stay normal no matter what the other side may hold.
