Chapter 4: The Witches -

Now with the witches, they are very tricky people to explain and understand. I will try and help you understand though.
When you are born into a coven either you have powers or you do not. There is no in-between (even though people like to think there is, there is simply not.) When a person is born with powers they emit a slight glow after they come from his or her mother and depending on the color will help the people of our world depict what they are true masters of. Although all witches are able to function with other types of power, their own is the only one they are truly in control of.
Purple glows represent control of weather patterns around them.
A yellow glow means you have the undeniable control of electricity.
A blue glow has power over water (obviously)
Pink hue means this person is able to control people's emotions and hearts.
Now a black hue which has only happened once, that means you have power over everything.
With this black glow, this warlock or witch is a force to be reckoned with, although there is only one person with that power; the high priest. Now every witch has the ability to learn more powers that are not in their usual area of expertise; the basic abilities that every witch is able to do are move things, teleport, make things disappear, pretty much the average magician tricks all witches and warlocks are able to perform.
The high priestess is the only person in history who has ever been born with the ultimate power that she has. She is on a different level than any witch, warlock, or human under her control.
The High Priestess Elvira Rathmore is the woman in control of her magical area. Elvira is definitely a tricky woman, but she can be talked to and convinced of things if you really work at her. Her characteristics are some that I have not seen since I was created; her slick way of speech is something that I do not see often at all anymore. Her fierce eyes can burn a hole right into your soul, which is difficult for anyone to do to someone on the same level of power as her like me. People assume brown isn't an intimidating color, but with her light brown eyes, they can drive anyone into a fit of uncomfortable sweat and nerves.
She's got this tall, lanky frame that is kind of hard to look away from. Her body is odd, but in an entrancing way; you almost do not want to look away even though you do not like what you see.
While Elvira and I aren't always on good terms, and although we disagree on many things, we can agree on one thing, the peace that the Witches and Werewolves once had was destroyed once Adrian came into power. Things have been so different since King Emerick died, and things are only getting worse.
