'. . . . should I text him? NO. You don't want to look desperate. Just wait a little longer and if he doesn't text you then. . . . KEEP WAITING.' You had arrived home and you were in your room. Waiting hopelessly for the guy that you just met today to text you. You glanced over at your clock to check the time, 8:01 pm.

'Fine! If he doesn't text me by the time it's 8:20 then i'll . . . . shit. I don't know what i'll do if he doesn't text me. I'll probably sit in the corner and cry. Cry because the one guy I felt something so strong between us dropped me like actual shit.'

You sat on the edge of your bed staring at your phone waiting. You wanted to be the first to text him so bad. The temptation was taking over you, you needed to talk to him or else you were going to go insane. You jumped off the bed and grabbed your phone looking for his contact. 'AHA! Found you.' You thought as you were thinking on what to text him.

Me: hey joji

Me: wyd?

You look at what you have sent him and think, 'Ew was that too cringey? Maybe he doesn't like me the way I like him. He might have just been flirting with me to try to get in your pants like mom said.' Then a feeling came over you that thought something else, 'But Joji wouldn't do that right? He looks so sweet and kind and wouldn't do me dirty like that right? But then again, I only just met him today and had a conversation about everything besides ourselves.

Joji: hey y/n, whats up?

He finally texted back. 'What should I tell him next? Ughhh why is this so hard?!'

Me: nothin just wanted to see what you were doing

Joji: well i'm at home laying in bed

Joji: hey can i ask u something? I was wondering but, how old are you?

Me: i'm 18 soon to turn 19. Imma big girl! :))

Joji: oh, i'm 23

A sudden shiver went up my spine. '23? I thought he'd be like 20 or 21 but, 23? Damn I have a thing for older men then.' It was so hard to resist not liking him even if he was older. I don't know what it is but, for some reason older men have more chance in winning a girl's heart in my opinion. 'I can't with this anymore. I need more of him then just a screen with his name on it.'

Me: hey i was thinking we could hang out sometime ya'know, to get to know each other more?

'Was I too sudden to ask him that. Oh my god. . . . the possibility of him having a girlfriend is very high right now. Shit! He might also be married too but, I didn't see a ring on him. He's a grown man a very attractive and hot man and I wouldn't believe it if he didn't have a girlfriend nor a wife.' He still hadn't replied and you began to worry. 'Yup, he's got a girl already and doesn't wanna risk it.' I sighed and put my phone down until I felt it buzz.

Joji: sure:) When and where tho? I should be free this whole week tbh

Your heart stopped beating for a second. He said he was down to get to know you holy shit. You didn't hesitate to answer and typed when and where you wanted to go.

Joji: k sounds good. I'll pick u up at 3 pm and we'll head from there.

Joji: night beautiful ;)

That was the last text message you received from him for the rest of the night. You couldn't help but to scream out in joy and started jumping on your bed.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" you kept chanting on while you jumped.

"Y/n! Can you keep it down we're trying to watch a movie!" you heard your parents yelling from downstairs.

"Sorry! Imma go to sleep good night!" you yelled back and with that you plopped in bed with a big smile on your face.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day, Joji and you are gonna go out for a little 'get to know you more' type of meme at the park where you suggested was the best place. How could you get any sleep when all that was running through your head was a stranger. A stranger that made you happy. A stranger that you wanted by your side. Simply, a beautiful stranger. A stranger named Joji.
