My eyes open, I almost jump out of skin when I see Andys eyes already open staring into mine. His lips curve up showcasing the gorgeous smile I love, he chuckles, it's expected he does as I can almost feel how goofy and unattractive the face I pulled is.

"Morning sunshine" he tries to sound enthusiastic, but his attempt sounds drained.

"Good morning" I croak out. I must be getting sick from being so exposed to the rain last night.

I stretch my arms and my legs before finally becoming awake and aware enough to sit up from my previous sleeping position. Andy, as lazy as I know him to be remains laying down. He reaches to hold my hand, I intertwine my fingers through his and he gives my hand a gentle squeeze. Once that's a success he closes his eyes and rests again, his hand remaining limp in mine. I turn my body around and sit cross legged so I'm facing him, it's too late for him to sleep in anymore. We've already slept in enough.

"Wake up!" I exclaim.

He groans, it's muffled due to the face that his head is buried deep in his pillow. Rather than smiling like a complete idiot because of cute he looks I substitute it by poking him in his rib that happens to be exposed as he's not wearing a shirt. He groans again, my response is to poke him continuously.

"Fine, you win" he says in a groan. He rolls over onto his back and rubs his eyes aggresivley. When he's content he's rubbed his eyes to the point that they'll stay open he just lays there on his back. Not speaking a word to me, is he giving me the silent treatment? When he catches my eye he looks away from me almost immediately. I know he's only mucking around, he's not really mad at me but just wants my attention.

"Are you in a huff?" I accuse. He doesn't answer with anything but a deep sigh, I look at him, my eyes asking 'are you serious?'. He ignores my gesture, I decide I'll play along with this. I mean, two can play at this game, all I did was wake him up. It's already ten thirty in the morning!

"Fine" I say, I crawl on my knees to the end of the bed as a threat to leave the room. I turn around on the spot look at him once more prior to stepping off, he shrugs his shoulders as if to say he doesn't really care whether I leave or not. But, as I guessed, before my feet can even touch the ground he gives in.

"Come back cuddle buddy"

I take a seat on the very edge of the bed and stare him down. "Why should I?" I ask in a tone which makes it obvious I'm waiting for a legitimate reason to why I should even consider joining him again. His sea blue eyes twinkle at the sight of mine, I can tell a cheeky remark is about to leave that gorgeous mouth.

"Because you love me" precisely the answer I was expecting.

I give him a look as if to say 'you wish'. He pouts, only playfully and it still toys with my emotions. I roll my eyes as a symbol that I've waved the white flag of surrender and join him by his side. His warmth immediately affects me. I'm seated, despite my urge to fall asleep cuddled up to him again, he looks into my eyes adoringly. I love the way he looks at me, even when we were just friends the looks he gave me were of protection and adoration.

"So" he begins. "How does it feel to be the girlfriend of a sexy bassist who going to tour Australia soon?" he asks, I don't think he knows how sincere that subject really is to me. He may have spoken to me about it yesterday, but it doesn't change the fact that I'll miss them. I decide to put one of my famous fake smiles on, they fall for it every time.

"It's good" I say, nodding my head as another false gesture to reassure him I'll be okay. But eventually fake smiles wear off, in this case it was extremely quickly. He realises, he's very good at reading me.
