Rick... (Chapter 1 rewritten)

Before me and Rick got together I was with Shane. I didn't know Shane was also with Laurie nor did I know I was just a substitute for Laurie.

I should have known though. It was my fault for thinking someone would like me. But I guess I'm glad I found out because he seemed to be going crazy.

I wouldn't have known they were together until I heard them talking about it back at the science place. ( couldn't remember what the place was called) I didn't tell Rick because so much was going on and poor Carl.

He would have found out anyways but the more I got to know him I got over Shane and had a crush on Rick. It's also a plus since he so cool and hot! Either way he found and he also found out that I knew so he was mad at me wouldn't even talk to me, much less look at me.

I tried to explain my reason for not telling him but he didn't reply back to me so I just let him have his space.
After the prison down fall and the group getting separated. I escaped the prison with Rick, Carl, and Michonne. Rick didn't speak to me much but me an Michonne became great friends.

Rick finally gave in and said sorry for acting like a child. I also apologized for not saying anything about there relationship. I'm glad he for gave me but I didn't know he would confess his love for me.

*~~ Flashback/ Avery pov. (aka you)~~*

"I-I know this is sudden and all but... uh um... Will you be my lover!"  My eyes widen from shock and gasp came out. "I-if you do-" before he could say anything I jumped on him wrapping my legs around his waste. "Yes! Yes! I had a crush on you forever!" I said in loud yet quiet voice not wanting any walkers ruin our moment.

As we stared at each other's eyes, our head grew closer and closer. Our lips were about to touch when we heard "Hey, daaaa- uh um sorry!!" We looked over to see Carl standing there shocked and awkward. I bursted out laughing as Carl grew red.
