That kid and his derpy charizard

*click* * click* *click- click*
I stared into the illuminated screen of my Gameboy advance as I began another file of my already 4 time completed Pokemon game. Pokemon red. It's old but good and I have to say it's my favorite. The cruddy graphics and the funny music amuses me. As the screen reveals the professor asking me questions about myself I enter what I always put in, blue. The professor fades away and a somewhat bare bed room is sitting in front of my character. I know I have to set the clock and talk to my mom so I relieve those two tasks from my checklist first. Go outside, go meet rival, get Pokemon, it's pretty straight forward.
After meeting my rival(who by the way is named red) I headed to the crazy professor/ neighbor to get my Pokemon. My human sprite moved slowly and turned abruptly in front of the lab before pushing in. The screen went dark for a second before the simple design of the laboratory folded out on the screen.
The professor began to rattle off into the pre adventure lecture that I skipped with several clicks of the A-button. I pushed my character towards the table and clicked the pokeballs. Bulbasaur.... Squirtle.... Charmander! I haven't chosen Charmander in a while so it seemed to fit my craving for action. I backed away from the table and waited for the preset Squirtle was picked by Red.
I yawned and rubbed my tired eyes. It was late but ,hey, it's Pokemon. It's worth it. I began to turn my character around when a random poke sprite flashed across the screen. Peculiar that's not in the usual game.... The Gameboy started to shake violently, and the screen went white. A sensation of shear worry erupted in my gut. I dropped the game and scooted back against the wall. A robotic voice began to rattle out of the small box like structure.
" M-M-MEW USED DIMENSION S-S-SWAP!" The voice glitched and sputtered. My head went light and a falling feeling overcame my body.
