The whole room was filled with a weird silence.

Rk processing on how to tell madhu.

And madhu trying to digest his words.
"Madhu I was forced to leave you" he sighs

"You know what Rishab, you shouldn't be a business man but you should definitely try your hand in acting" she mocks him,  sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"Will you just give me a chance to explain baby" he asks tiredly,  pressing his forehead with his fingers.

His head is wildly throbbing due to jet lag.

"Explain Mr. Fake Kundra" she twists her face, looking away.

"Shut up and listen" he chides her.

She nods her head signalling him to start his fake story according to her.

"It all started a week before I took you to shopping. You remember I avoided you the whole week?? "

She nods her head up and down.

"I was contemplating on what to do. Then you only gave me an answer. When I took you out, the love your eyes showed for me.... I decided to fight with them for my love" he says looking straight into her eyes.

She looks anywhere but at him.

"Then at Trishna's wedding, the bullet shot at you wasn't an accident. It was a warning for me.  You heard that whistling sound right?? "

"Yeah continue" she pays her full attention as if watching a bollywood movie.

"Then at night, the blackmailer called me and warned me to leave you otherwise they will kill you" a shiver ran through his spine as he thought what would have happened.

"So that night you lied to me about stephen asking you to come to strip club and all" she arches her brow, questioning him

"Yeah, then they told me the whole plan on how to ditch you" he shakes his head to clear the thought, how helpless he was then.

"Who did this?? " she pops another question.

"AP aka Abhiraj Pandey and Sikander" he says through gritted teeth.

"Why??" she eagerly looks at him.

"AP and Sikander aka Sikky... "

"What Sikky??? " she shouts shocked.

He nods his head,  sikky was Madhu's college friend who had a crush on her but she didn't paid any heed to him

"I like you Madhu" sikky bent on his knees bearing a joker like grin on his face.

"What nonsense Sikky.  Stand up and don't create a scene" she pulled him up with a jerk.

"Ooch Miss Strong Bala" he howls rubbing his arm.

Madhu rolls her eyes at the melodramatic joker standing in front of her.

"Madhu trust me I will keep you happy. I will bring lots of gifts for you. I will recharge your phone. I will buy you chocolates,  take you for movies,  dates and SHOPPING" he tries hard to convince her.

"Shut up Sikky" she says pissed

"Its not about date or shopping. Its just that I don't want to commit to any such things. I just want my full focus on my studies and career. Besides we are very good friends,  so please don't spoil this relationship by involving all this love crap in it" she patiently explains him.
