Chapter 6

Well...after writing chapter 5 i got all excited with Jax and Brent's date. It'll be in the next chapter, which will be up soon. But here's just something to hold you over, and a short POV of the one and only JUSTIN. Lol, enjoy :3

"Edgar Allan Poe was was an American author, poet, editor, and literary critic, considered part of the American Romantic Movement. Best known for his tales of mystery and the macabre, Poe was one of the earliest American practitioners of the short story, and is generally considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre. Blah blah, where's the important stuff?" It was roughly 5:30 pm and I was in the middle of a research paper on Edger Allan Poe for my college English coarse.

Jordan was next to me in a baby swing as he watched Jake and the Never land Pirates run around on the screen. It made him happy and caught his attention, so I took full advantage of it to get some work done. I ran a hand through long messy hair and sighed as I scrolled through Wikipedia, trying to find something slightly interesting to talk about in my paper.

"Knock knock!" Asia called as she used her key to get in,"We're here to baby sit! Yes, I know it's early, but I figured you'd need help getting ready and you know how I am with clothes and hair and make up and-"

"Asia, I think she gets it." Robbie said with a chuckle. "Hope you don't mind that I'm here and not Ryley. She couldn't make it, boyfriend has some family troubles and wanted her there." He set a grocery bag down on the counter and I finally got out of my chair at the small computer desk.

"Oh no, it's completely fine. You know I love you Robert,"I teased him, using his real name that he hated."You guys didn't need to go buy anything, my fridge is fully stocked." I took a look into the bag and frowned lightly,"Why on earth did you buy 3 tubs of ice cream, 2 bags of Ruffles and a can of spray cheese?"

Asia bit her bottom lip,"Well...you'll find out later. But come on. We gotta get you ready. Robbie, go watch Jordan." She commanded him as she put her hands on my shoulders and started pushing me towards my bedroom.

Robbie smirked but saluted her,"Yes m'am." He told her sternly before turning on his heals to put the food away then going to Jordan to play with him.

Once in my bedroom, Asia shut the door and crossed her arms over her chest, staring at me a bit angrily. "Why are you going on a date with BRENT?"

"I..uh...well." I bit my bottom lip,"Justin met Jordan, saw papers proving he was his son, told me he didn't want to be a dad, so I left. Brent found me walking with Jordan down the street and took me home, let me sleep and told me it was the worst mistake of his life." I swallowed before adding,"He told me it's just one date. If I want him to leave me alone after this, then he will."

Asia sighed, defeated."Justin really doesn't want Jordan? Are you serious? What kind of idiot sees all that cuteness and turns him away?! Can I go egg his house? Oh please, please, please?!"

I laughed and sat down on my bed,"I don't know where he lives, just know where he's staying. But... he wants me to find Jordan a dad, one that'll be there for him and Brent...we have a history...and he's really good with Jordan. Like really good." I sighed and fell back onto my bed, looking at the ceiling.

Asia was quiet for a moment before she pursed her lips,"Alright, lets forget about all of this for tonight and just get you ready. Did he say what to wear?" She stood up, going to my closet.

"Uh...something casual...he didn't say where we were going either, which kind of scares me.." I told her honestly.

"Hmm...well. It's going to be kind of cold tonight...but not too cold...like...just a bit breezy...." Asia said, talking to herself."Oooo! I know exactly what you can wear!"
