I gotta stop srsly.
Matt stumbled down onto the grassy surface quickly changing back into his deer form gasping for air.
He groaned out in frustration. It would be a while before he could walk or even turn back into his human form.
Indeed it hurt but it was just because he wasn't used to doing this... Constantly.
His legs wobbled as he tried to stand on his four hoves.
He shook his head.
He couldn't keep doing this forever.
It hurt.
Sometimes the pain would last for days.
But he had to deal with it.
"So what did he say?"
A voice croaked up from behind him. Of course.. Thomas.
"He said.. He didn't see that cold blooded killer but... He saw some tracks right around the mountain."
He coughed out his words. He needed a rest. That's the exact expression Tom gave him.
The black eyed man sighed and walked over to his friend in his human form. Though he still had wings, he hid them behind him.
He rested a hand on his friends head.
"You should rest... You've been doing this for a week Already. "
His voice sounded caring.
Something you can rarely find on this guy.
"No... I-its fine... Imagine what... He's doing to edd.. It's.. Probaly worst than.. W-what I'm going through Thomas."
Tom sighed. He did care for edd... But he needed to keep up for his friend too.
"Matt... I'm serious... You need rest. I'll go scout the area... Don't worry"
He said as he helped the deer to his hoves.
Matt turned back into his half Jan form and gave a little yawn.
"Well... I-i guess... But just a nap... Then I'll keep going alright?"
Tom chuckled at his friend and ruffled his hair.
"Sure sure... Just go get your rest buddy. "
He pat the gingers back and turned back into his hawk form and disappeared into the clouds.
The ginger sighed and fixed his hair.
He just wanted his friend back.
Where could be be?
Neither did he know... His friend was right under his nose.
Matt groaned before changing back into his deer form and trotting back to his home.
The forest was more quiet and silent these days.
He missed those old times....
He miss edd.
He miss his friends hanging out together.
He missed it all.
