He's back!

He’s back!

I was walking to my favorite place in the world and that was in the woods. I love to climb a tree and look up and just see all the leaves, every single thing, it’s just natures beauty. When I arrived I climbed my favorite tree. When I was younger, I used to walk in the woods with my mom, she never wanted me to climb it because she thought It would fall but I never listened and I still don’t. I sat on a big thick branch the one I always sit on and I closed my eyes getting lost in my dreams but I hear something , and it sure didn’t sound like nature it was my phone I mean why would I even bring my phone? And guess who it was? Taylor i picked it up because Taylor just happens to be my best friend, I answer in a disturbed voice.

“Hello?”

“Hey girl I got big news!”

“What kind of news?” I asked slightly annoyed.

“The kind that might just make you have heart attack.”

“Oh fudge cakes, just tell me already!”

“Well Seth is the news.”

Wait what’s that supposed to mean? As in my Seth? The Seth? The guy I used to have the biggest crush ever in middle school. He used to be my best friend since forever but in 8th grade he left. He went to live with his dad in Arizona and I live in Florida so he not really my next door neighbor anymore but his mom still lives there with his step dad. We lost contact, not completely but let’s just say daily calls when to monthly monthly calls went to holidays and now its practically never.

“Seth?” I repeat what she just said.

“Yes Seth the kid that you were in love with all threw middle school, well guess what that exact Seth is back to stay with his mom for the summer!”

 She was right I did have a mini heart attack, but I try to sound clam as ever.

“How do you know?” I need to make sure of this.

“Well my dad is friends with his step dad. You know I have my ways, I’m surprised you don’t know you’re his neighbor! Where are you you’re breaking up?”

“Breaking up? Um Taylor me and Seth where never together and you of all people know that!” 

“No silly! I mean breaking up as your phone sounds like horse poo.”

“Oh I’m in the woods I had gone for a walk that’s probably why.” 

“Oh you don't say? The good old woods walk is something wrong?”

Yes, something was wrong life was boring too boring to live it honestly. I needed something new to happen but now that’s Seth is back there’s nothing wrong at all. I could not be more happy. Now I need to go home and confrim this highlight of my day.

“No nothing’s wrong I have to go," go see Seth.

“Okay I know Go home? You mean see Seth right?”

“Whatever” I say and let out a small chuckle, Taylor knew me maybe a little bit too well.

“I’ll take that as a yes! Bye, text me later to tell me all about what happens with you and you know who.”

I hang up and jump off the branch hoping I will make it home without screaming of happiness.
