Mystery guy isn't a "mystery" anymore something way worse.

I was sitting on the couch watching x-factor when I yelled out to my mom. “You better hurry up with that popcorn after the break they are arousing who’s going to be eliminated!”

“I’m coming!” She yelled with excitement.

I look around the room bored while the ads are rolling I grab my phone and see a text from Seth.

Seth: You, me summer job?

Lena: Summer job?

Seth: Yeah, at my uncles diner I can really use the money and my cousin is going to get a job there as well so I thought why not invite someone to do all the work for us? ;)

Lena: In your dreams hot shot, I was considering the idea even though I have money to spend on like all the summers until the end of the school year but you lost me at “do all the work for us”.

Seth: No I’m serious please :( *does sad puppy dog face*.

Lena: Seth do you really think a sad face and you telling me that you’re doing the sad puppy dog face is going to work?

Seth: Absolutely.

Lena: Well you guessed right when does our shift start?

Seth: Just come by my place at 7 tomorrow.

I quickly write him a fast text when I hear that X-Factor is back.

Lena: igtg x-fator is back!

Job? Not so happy about that. Spending time with Seth? Happy about that. I mean what to I have to lose? Taylor is going on spend the summer with her aunt in a small town in Alabama in the middle of nowhere, Hannah is going France, yes I know I’m so jealous and that leaves me with Stacy who is most likely going to be with Conner 24. Ugh, why did everyone have to leave this summer? I cannot believe I’m so desperate to do something I’m taking summer jobs great.

The next day at 7 am, I walk over to Seth doorstep, knock on the door Seth’s Mom answers the door, and when she sees me, a huge Grin appears on her face.

“Lena, How are you doing dear? It’s been awhile since I seen you around” Maybe that’s because I stuck in your house the last time I came here.

“Ms. Archer, Hi nice to see you. Yeah Seth said he could give me a ride to work.” I greet her with a hug.

“Oh yes! I heard that you will be working with Seth at his uncles diner it’s nice to see you kids will have something to do for the summer. Come on in, I’m guessing you hear to see Seth he’s in his room, your free to just go up there if you like.”

“Alright thanks Ms. Archer!” I smile to her and walk up the stairs.

While I’m walking up the hall way I stop and look at all the photos on the wall even though I have seen those photos of Seth as a baby and his family pictures all the time they never get old. I walk over to Seth’s room and his door is closed I reach for handle and stop. Isn’t it better if I knock? I mean for all I know he could be changing just as I’m about to knock I can’t help and notice a voice a male voice sounding familiar some way I couldn’t quite figure out who it was though, then I started hearing some of the conversation.

“Dude I totally forgot to tell you the craziest thing happened to me the like a week ago!”

“What happened?” Seth says at least that voice I recognized even in my sleep if I had to.

“So you know the fireworks that happened like week ago at the local park?”

“Oh yeah I went to that I’m surprised I didn’t see you there.”
