We say hi to my parents, who were surprisingly home and go upstairs to my room, he opens my window and starts going out and sticks his hand out to give me a hand up to the roof. The roof was kind of one of me and Seth things when we were younger but after he left me and Logan started doing it. I feel for Seth I mean pretty much everything that used to be his isn’t his anymore.
We lay back on the roof and stare In to the stars and Logan turns his head and says “So my Dad’s wedding is next week.”
“Really? I thought it wasn’t going to be for another month or so?”
“Nah I have seen it Len my dad’s head over heels for this one.”
“That’s what you always say.”
“No this time it’s real I can just tell and she has a son and everything.”
“She has a son?”
“Yeah and I don’t mean to sound selfish but I kind of feel like my Dads trading him for me even though he isn’t my dad’s child.”
“Logan no don’t you ever think that, your special to him you always will be.”
“Yeah but still I have been to my dad’s another weddings but this one I don’t think I can go…”
“Non’ sense I’m going as your “date” then.”
“Really?”
“Yes count me in.” he sits up and gives me tight hug and smiles to me.
“Thanks couldn’t ask for better friend”
When I walk Logan to the door I rush back upstairs to my room and open the blinds to my window, the one that faced Seth’s room i see that I’m a few minutes late so I call him on the phone while I face the window he picks up.
“Hey”
“Hi, sorry I’m late.”
“That’s fine I can clearly see why you were late.”
“Yeah Logan really needed to talk to me that’s why I told you in 30 minutes instead of 10.”
“The roof huh? Is that where you guys always talk?”
“Well ever since you left we stared going up there to talk and wait how did you know? Um where you spying on me?”
“Spying on you? What no! I just saw you where late so I looked out my window and happened to see you two.” He says in a grumpy voice.
“Okay are you alright you seem angry? I don’t get it. Are you angry?”
“No.”
“You sure?”
“Yes.”
“Really sure?”
“Yes Darn it!”
“Seth you’re almost shouting what’s wrong?”
He says in a quiet voice “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Tell you what?”
“That you and Logan where dating.”
“Dating? Seth you got It all wrong me and Logan aren’t dating.”
“Doesn’t seem like it.”
“Seth I swear we aren’t he is like a bother to me.”
“Brothers don’t think there sisters are hot!”
“We are just really close I would never date Logan” I laugh
“Why are you laughing?”
“Because I think it’s funny how you assumed we were dating.”
