"Andddd yeah, that's about it. It's small but you know, it works."

Alaina smiled at me. The tour of the apartment was brief and concise, considering the fact that it was not very spacious. Although I liked large empty spaces, the apartment seemed to have made an exception for me and I couldn't wait to call the place home for a few months.

"Thanks for the tour. I really dig this place, you've got great style and home decor choices."

I'm a sucker for people who had the best style in not just clothing, but interior design too. I'm horrible at picking which furniture matched with which carpet or wallpaper and I envied people who could do all these things with their eyes closed.

"Thank you. Well, you can start unpacking your things and I'll just leave you to it. I'll be in my room if you need me."

Alaina left my so-called new room and I mouthed another 'thank you' to her. I couldn't wait for every single day that's going to come while I'm here in LA.

Once I finished unpacking my things and arranging them in my cabinet, I went out to the small living room that was adjacent to my room.  I took my phone out and continued reading my set of wonderful fanfics.

Hey, I might be 17 years old but a girl can still dream and fantasize about those she adore right?

I was getting to the climax of the book when I heard a knock on the door. Just as I was about to stand up and get the door, a man let himself in. Maybe he's just a friend of Alaina's. Eh.

He closed the door silently, his back facing me and I recognized his figure. He turned around and I immediately lost it.

"Holy shit. You're Kenneth Paul San Jose."
