Chapter 2

Jaimes POV

Pattie looked at Justin and then to me with a blank expression on her face, she didn't look happy.

"Justin, jaime we need to talk"

What? why does she need to talk to us? I'm confused.

Justin and I sat back into our seats and listened to what Pattie had to say.

"I just wanted to inform you guys that mrs Potts passed away this morning, she was extremely ill."

Tears swelled up in my eyes.

Mrs Potts? no. no. no. no. no. No! NO!

Mrs Potts is i mean was our beloved neighbour that lived in between Justin and I.

"No no no" I started to cry

She was like my grandma I never had, she taught me right from wrong, she taught me how to bake cookies and ride a bike

"Jaime don't cry please it's okay she's happier now" Justin said as he pulled me into a tight hug

"Aww jaime honey don't cry it's okay" pattie joined the hug along with my mom and we all cried together.

Justin POV

Jaime started to cry

I pulled her into a right hug and told her everything's gonna be alright.

Once jaime had cheered up a little we went into her bedroom to play some board games because the weather turned horrible.

"Just ask if you can stay the night Justin" she whispered.

"No you" I said

"Hehe okay" she giggled.

It made me happy knowing that she had cheered up.

I could hear the conversation sitting upstairs in jaimes bedroom

"Mum can j stay the night?!" Asked jaime

"If you behave, pattie? is that ok?" Charlotte replied

"Yeah that's fine!" my mom said happily

Yuss!!!!

I heard jaimes footsteps up the stairs and then she ran in and hugged me

"Eeeep it's a yes!!" she squealed

"Haha I knowww yay!"

4 hours later

Jaimes POV

It was now 9:02 am

"Justin, jaime time to go to bed!" my mom called from in her bedroom

"Okay!" We said in unison

Justin and I had just set up an air mattress for him to sleep on, when we were younger we would usually just share a bed but now we are getting to big.

Earlier on we had recorded Justin singing 'with you' by chris brown

And he was AMAZING OMG my best friend could be famous! imagine how cool that would be?!

We hopped into our warm cozy beds and started talking about life.

I tried everything I could to keep my mind off mrs Potts death. I really tried. but I started to cry thinking about her.

"Jaime. are you ok?" He asked me kindly

"No" I replied

He hopped out of his bed and into mine.

He gave me a big and and a kiss on the cheek. Great. I had that special feeling again.

"Jaime it's okay she's happier now, don't cry please" he said reassuringly

"Thanks j" I said, he always knows how to make me happier.

"Anything for my best friend "

He then hopped out of my bed and into his.

"Goodnight j" I mumbled half asleep

"Goodnight jaime" he blew me a kiss

I giggled quietly and then I don't really know what happened after that but I drifted into a calm peaceful sleep.
