are you happy now?

you said you weren't ready for commitment
but the next day you walked by me,
your hand interlocked with hers

as you laughed
you looked at her like
she was the sun
and you were a planet
that needed her to survive

your gaze caught mine
and you looked at me like a stranger
like the past months never happened
