I HAVE RISEN FROM THE DEAD.

so i kinda got a bit of inspiration after ereri135 spammed a day or two ago.....

So here is a new chapter, right in the middle of the mess that is my life. Aside from problems at home and such I now have school again, which means nightly hours of homework and incredible stress😭 (why did I think it was a good idea to take AP English III? oh, right, it looks good on college applications...)

Anyway, guess who's having a mid-life crisis? (Yes, I know I'm 16, but I do not know when I will die so therefore every day can be a mid-life crisis)

I want to be in theater and stuff but then it's probably too late to join anything outside of school (the theater teacher is a tyrant, I quit because I couldn't handle her cruel ways of teaching, which include pushing kids until they burst into tears on stage) because I want to audition for Ariel in the live action Little Mermaid... and I want to be in dance but I have no grace whatsoever and I want to be more active and healthy so I can live forever but idk how to be active and healthy, and then I have to memorize a 10-page piano piece for competition, etc. etc.

Adulting is hard. I would not recommend trying it.

Anyway, this is a long author's note because after this I have to go do math homework, and I'm procrastinating (yay!)

Don't procrastinate kids- it only makes life harder.

Also, try to get as much sleep as possible, I'm running on caffeine alone right now which probably isn't healthy considering it's 9 pm.

Adrien still hadn't recovered from his experience at the "restaurant". He was positive Marinette noticed, she seemed to notice everything.

When he'd gone to the café shaking and terrified later that same night, she was furious. He was reluctant to think about what she might've done to Plagg.

Note to self- don't piss Marinette off.

The next day the ghoul seemed to have calmed down a bit, and Adrien forced the horrifying memory to the back of his mind.

"Adrien, could you take this coffee up to Manon?" she asked, bringing Adrien out of his thought-filled daze.

"Sure." he replied, taking the cup that Marinette had offered to him.

He made his way to the door at the back of the café, heading into the small stairwell that led to their home. He entered the living area to find Manon reading on the couch, her feet kicking lazily in the air.

Adrien set the coffee on the small table, sitting down next to the little girl and looking at the book she held.

"Harry Potter?" he asked, recognizing the words on the page.

"Yep!" she replied, "It's a good book. I like Hermione."

"Yeah, Hermione is a good character." Adrien replied, before glancing over to an open notebook on the coffee table. "What's that?" he asked, motioning to the journal.

"Oh, just notes." Manon replied, "Since I don't go to school, I try writing down words I don't know and asking mom what they mean."

Adrien looked at the notebook, looking at the first word written on the page.
