Protector

Chapter 2

I wake up visions if what happened last night in my head.

My father. what's gonna happen? Are we just gonna go in like a normal family forgetting about whatever happened or are we going to remember this forever and forget eachother completely.

I kept thinking of the possibilities until a knock at the door snapped me out of my train of thought.

"Come in"

The door opened revealing my mother.

"Hey" my mother said leaning against the door.

"Hey" I say looking down into my lap.

"Where is he"

She walks over to me.

"Hun, I know what ha-"

"Where is he" I repeat again voice shaking slightly.

My mother lets out a breath. " I don't know"

"What do you mean?" I snap

"After that... happened. he walked out and he hasn't came back since" her voice cracked.

I know I'm being hard on her but he is my father and I should know.

"Oh"

There was a silence.

"I'm gonna have a shower" I state after that encounter with my father I feel so dirty and I just blacked out.

My mother nodded and left.

I grabbed a towel and face cloth and went to the bathroom.

I turned on the shower and put my hand under the water to get it just the right temperature.

As soon as it for the right temperature I hopped in standing there relaxing my tensed muscles.

He couldn't of just left us. could he?

I mean yeah he never really was home and even if he was there was only rare points where they weren't getting along but most times they were happy. I think?

I stood there for who knows who how long before I washed my body and hair. I finally got out putting my hair in a messy bun and got in sweats and a hoodie.

I went into my room and texted Eleanor to ask if she wanted to hangout.

I waited on my bed for Eleanor to text back. About 5 minutes later she texted back saying to Comeover.

I get up grabbing my car keys and license of the dresser and walked out.

I stepped up to Eleanor's door and knocked.

She opened the door in seconds.

She pulled me into a hug.

"Hey come in , come in"

"Hey" I say with a small smile.

"Ummm you go sit on the couch and ill be right there"

"Okay" I say making my way towards the couch.

I sit down for about 5 minutes before El comes back with a bowl of popcorn.

And ice cream with 2 spoons.

"What's up love?" El smiles

I huff. "can we not talk about it now?"

El nods in agreement and goes to a different subject.

"I can't wait for tomorrow, we will finally be free!" el throws her hands into the air .

"Yeah" I laugh. "I'm so exhausted and happy. Im finally out of that jail you call school"

El laughs.

We talked a little longer until el got up and crouched by the tv.

"What movie"

Me and El both look at each other and smirk.

"Mean girls." We both say.

We laughed while el put in the disc. I grabbed the blankets and cuddled into them immediately and grabbed the ice cream.

As the movie played on we cried from laughter, then deciding on another movie

After our movie marathon it was 11 and I decided it was time to go home.

I hugged Eleanor.

"Ill see you tomorrow!" I wave

"Bye Ally!" El smiles closing the door.

I walk to my car and hopped in.

I finally got home, going into my bedroom putting in my pyjamas and walking into the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face then hopping into bed by 11:30.

Great.

Guess who's gonna be tired tomorrow.
