Natalie's POV
I run all the way to Mrs. Benson's office, before I could knock on the door I heard her summoning me in.
"Of course she would know she is a seer, now let's go sort out this confusion because left to me alone Elvis is bad news"
"But he is our mate if not anything at all He was our mate first"
"Are you stupid?? Can't you see..."
"Lily calm yourself  would you" Mrs. Benson interrupted my wolf and she immediately quieted down. I hadn't even realized that I had entered her office yet alone reached the front of her desk.
"Sit down Natalie and I will answer all your questions" she said gently and she peered out of her glasses to look at me.
"Thank You Mrs. Benson"
"Now it's time to know your fate" she whispered huskily
"Excuse me??" I looked up to see her eyes had glazed over, knowing she was in another realm.
"One is your prince and the other the trickster but the choice is yours, be wise in your decision. Listen to your heart for it already knows the answer. Don't choose based on physical appearance or familiarity, be wise dear child" She cautioned
I sat there baffled unsure of what to do
"Just be careful and be happy not comfortable " she added
"Thanks Mrs. Benson " I thanked her and walked out of her office still lost in my thoughts I bumped into someone
I quickly snapped out my stupor and profusely apologized to the person and bent down to help pick up the books the q me. We both reached for the same book and then our hands touched I felt sparks and jolts of electricity so strong I looked up in surprise only to find him.
I felt drawn to him as I stared into those meadow green eyes. I tried to look away but I just couldn't
"Sorry" I whispered then I sharply retracted my hand leaving him surprised. I didn't know to do as he reached out to touch my cheek. I wanted to lean away from it yet I wanted to feel his hand on my cheek. A sigh involuntarily left my lips the instant his palm made contact with my face. My wolf purred in contentment.
"Feel that?" he asked "you are mine!"
I shook my head at his words and force myself to get up even though I didn't want to. As if he wasn't in front of me I walked past him.
"Don't go! " I heard him yell as i walked on I shivered at the authority and power those words held and I felt obligated to obey them but I still walked on even though it was causing my wolf to whimper in pain. It felt so painful to walk away from him and I angrily swiped away the tears that had begun to roll down my face.

Jesse's POV
I was still stunned as to why my mate would run from me. She had a boyfriend, the thought of it made me so angry. Someone was messing and touching with what was mine and I didn't like it one bit. But why would she runaway from me. Suddenly someone jumped at my back and squealed, the person somewhat familiar.
"Hello cousin! It's been ages!" Aliya exclaimed
"Aliya" I replied her excited claim dryly
"What's the matter little cousin, you look unhappy"
"Stop calling me little cousin!" I replied indignantly
"But you are" she insisted
"Just because you were born a day before me doesn't give you the right to call me little" I replied hotly
"You just confessed" she said as she burst out into fits of laughter . Seeing that I had a frown etched to my face she sobered up quickly
"I was just messing with you, come on I always do. Why so serious anyways?" She asked whiles I contemplated telling her the truth
"Later, I will explain later when everything begins to make sense " I told her as I walked out of the cafeteria looking for my mate. I followed her smell all the way to the school counselor's office. It was no secret that Mrs. Benson was a seer but why my mate was here to see her I was yet to find out. The door opened to reveal my mate who was obviously deep in thought. She hadn't even realized that I was standing there looking at her, I stepped in front of her to block her and she bumped into me causing me to drop the books I I held. Heck I hadn't realized I was even holding books. She quickly bent down to help me pick up my books as she apologized profusely. Then our hands made contact as we both reached for the same book, jolts of electricity coursed through my hand sending shivers down my spine making my wolf purr with delight from the contact.
"Sorry" she said stiffly as she quickly retracted her hand leaving me annoyed
I didn't know why she was behaving like that, I wasn't imagining it. This was real whatever her problem was I intended to find out
"Feel that?"  I asked her as I put my hands in her cheek. I smiled as she didn't move away or slap my hands away "You are mine" she shook her head as my brows creased in confusion, why was she being so adamant about it. It was as simple as that I was hers as much as she is mine, mates destined to be together. She was my other half, she completed me. Suddenly she got up and turned to walk away from me.
"Don't go" I choked out but she refused to even look at me as she walked away from me. I felt someone staring at me, I looked up to find Mrs. Benson
"I think you should come in so that I explain things to you" she said, I just nodded and followed her into her office after I looked in the direction that my mate  fled one last time.
